POST Up SOME VIDS OF TOHNO SHIKI EVERYONE. Just find random vids right now and post them here so we can all study and compare ;D

Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MObMsSfVuAI)'s one of me. I thoroughly failed in the second round for trying to go fancy with the killing hit, and got my ass kicked, but I managed to pull off (entirely by accident) a Last Arc on the third round. XD

One of the best shiki players in Japan I have ever seen. Lots and lots of vids here.

There's a lot on some of his earlier vids.

I'll put up some replays pretty soon.

I don't have a vid but one strategy that I use a lot when ever I play Shiki is abuse of Shiki's quick dashes and backdashes in conjuntion with 236A or B depending on if I need to zone or get air counter hit. I find if nice to corner people and after making the opponent respect it, start using slides as mixups it close the gap.
I'm not to sure what would be nice to go off of a meaty 236B though...
214C -[corner]> 5B j.B j.C j.B j.C air throw?
or
214C -[Mid]> 236B -[Mid]> air tech punish

Go with option number 1 for the guaranteed added damage. But if you're mid-screen obviously option 2.

Surume is also good, nice shields.

word up on the dashes i use like them as well
so what do you guys think on aa's for shiki
so far besides like shield 2a.. im gonna try 5B(the extra movement might help if you anticipate attacks) and straight up using 236 A.. which i been using anyways... 236A gives you enough time to land 2C so i really considering that more... 5B seems decent enough.. but i dunno.. i don't see shiki use it (well the shikis that still play him)
imma try more shit though
PS- i like slide.. imma use that somewhat as well good stuff:
EDIT-imm gonna try to add more 2b.. i haven't really gave it a chance.. considering it fucks up most combos situations... but i really see what potential it has.. i didd some jap shikis use it so... imma see what's up with it...
-
I think 623a can be used as an AA in certain situations. It usually either knocksdown or trade hits in your favor.
-
yea but at the same time can get baited pretty easily.. but yeah that's decent too... but the problem with it is it's recovery..5B or 236a have better recovery.. but i do like 623a.. the trades are really in your favor

Here's my effortz on the combo.
Next,Matches.

:V Anyone know any good air combos for Shiki-san?
You could check some other threads in this sub-forum to get an answer but I'll be nice. C, B, Air jump, C, B, Air Throw. that along with some 2AA > 2B > 5B > 5A(whiff) > Jump 5C > 5B > Air Jump 5C > 5B > Air Throw is his BnB...I think.

j.B before j.C for no silly reverse beat!
