I have MUGEN, and Shiki Tohno did this special move I hadn't seen before. He, like, so totally lept into the air, kanji flew across the screen, and broke the freaking ground! :o
Anyone know what that Kanji was? ???

Could you post a screenshot? I personally don't know Kanji but it's impossible to translate anything without knowing what it is.
And the move you're refering to is called 17 Dissection, It's his Arc Drive.

In MB, neither one of the Shikis has a move featuring onscreen kanji. You must have been using a custom MUGEN mod.

Sounds like you had a custom tailored Shiki Tohno for your mugen. Alot of Authors add there own little quirks and perks to the characters they make, specially with street fighter and melty blood characters. (two of the most popular mugen character archetypes) Kanji displaying 17 disection... Sounds interesting. Makes me wonder if its similar to Kohaku's arc drive kanji, or if it was custom.
Anyway, do you still have the character files? If so, who's the author? I'm just curious too see how it looks aesthetically really, and i can find just about anything mugen related if i have the author name.
As for the quote, its directly from Tsukihime. One of his more famous lines. Though IIRC, it was "things", not "a thing", but that's just me being an anal douche. :blah:

Not sure, I was on a friend's comp at the time, but I think you can find it on MUGENATION. It's the Shiki Tohno with glasses. He can take them off, and the '17 Dissection' can be reach from there, or can freak out and they'll fall off, he'll have a Tsukihime moment, and go all badass Nanaya. :toot:

Sorry, VERY long time and sorry to necropush, but if you read this again, it was Shiki Tohno by Rouge Noir. Really fun to play. You can find him on Mugenation, or so I heard. :teach:

And here's a video someone made, I think they tweaked the portraits slightly. The Satsuki there is by 9.
