They're decent escapes, but that's about it. I still use them and last arcs all the times though just because they look cool. And that's all that matters.

There's a huge difference between Shiki's AAD and Nanaya's AAD.

Shiki's comes out absurdly fast and is really good. Nanaya's is much slower, to the point where it's nearly useless.
Yeah but I need to ask... but which is stronger?
Nanaya's or Shiki's?

I'd venture a guess at Shiki's, though I haven't really tested.

Shiki's better in terms of use, like its faster, and if used correctly, both AD/AAD are unblockable.

Nanaya's AD is blockable and slow, whereas his AAD is unblockable, insanely SLOW, but does more damage than Shiki's AAD.

Trust me, if you're in Blood Heat, there are pretty much of other stuff you can do to your enemy, since the 623C has a shield in the first frame, though only use at the end of the bar and if you punished him with your BnB and 236C.

Nanayas AD is quite good for avoiding deadly Blood rings and might hit if you're lucky enough.

I once had a dream where Nanayas AD hit overhead. Hell yeah. Because many guys crouchblock this attack, of no reason XD

also, when the two of you are so close that you can push each other, the AAD will miss...

or if he/she is close enough, he/she can dash forward to avoid the AAD...

maybe use the AAD if the opponent has a downward attack? (sion's j214a/b, TATARI's j2b)

an ok time to start using nanayas AD is prolly at times when you can read ahead and have a good idea as to what the opponent is about to do ex. hisui's chair clashes with it and cause the AD to activate anyways most people dont expect it so they would get hit by the AD when it activates. or satsuki 214 b if you read it ahead of time and activate it at the same time they start the move youll get in a free AD.

as for the AAD NEVER use it because a majority of the time youll be SEVERELY punished if it doesnt work.
