What's wrong with this combo?

I realize that a 2B starter has to start closer to the opponent than a 2C, but it still works off of a j.C.

I included the normal combo in there for reference.

Nothing is wrong with it.

Off a connected j.C, the combo that I use is j.C land 5B 2B 2C. This has minimal proration, thus maximizing your damage output. You can throw in a 2A before the 5B and the combo will still have about the same damage and proration but you'll end up with like 4% more meter. If you find that your 5C isn't connecting after 2C in this combo you can try delaying after the 2C a bit to remedy that. This kind of problem usually pops up when you connect j.C from afar.

This extended combo might be hard to hit on opponents in the corner, but you shouldn't be using 2C combos in the corner anyways. j.C land (2A) 5B 2B 5C 214C (2C) 5C 214A IAD Air Throw is your weapon of choice in that situation.
