anyone seen this video? ttp://youtube.com/watch?v=-2rdgceS1M0

me and my friend did some tests with this and it still seems valid where the game says it's an invalid combo. can anyone do additional tests with this combo? the one i did was aoko against nero, and when he would tech out of the corner he was able to backdash away, i'm not sure if i'm just not timing it right but he was able to get away.

its not valid. You can tech the initial bounce before you get popped up, similar to Kouma's j.236B j.236B and hisuis j.BB.

However there is a window where you can be punished for teching it if you tech it from the corner. Hence the 'mixup' which is the point of the video.

Yah but its still a pretty good alt. to the usual 412 starmine setup...IMHO

I use it primarily because holding starmines on a pad sucks horribly :(

i used to play aoko on pad... it was really horrendous, only decent way i could option select was change R2 to C. now i play on stick. :)

Hunting forward and backwards teching, as well as chasing no tech at all.
Stressing stability.
2A(5A) > 3C

Normal Chase:
jB>jB>jBjC, hit in the air
Big Characters in the air:
jC>jBjC>jBjC, hit in the air.

密着最大ヂィレイ追加下段
Against both Hisui and Nanaya.
密着青子ワンツー
The above-mentioned two, vAkiha, Aoko.

When the opponent techs forward, automatically into a 2C.

In exchange for one gauge
Keep the opponent in the corner with an aerial grab.

Sacrificing one gauge,
you can also switch to (HUGEASSORB / 214c?) okizeme.

Even against a backwards tech,
3C will hit.
But the power will drop a bit.

Against Len and Warc,

By walking backwards and doing 3C
The pursuit will stabilise. (?)

NEXT STAGE

Hunting techs or pursuing without techs from that place.
Important to do in case of hunting techs or a forward tech.
5A>(not the fastest ("not immediately"? or maybe delayed))5A>5B

Important when pursuing without teching.
5A>(not the fastest ("not immediately"? or maybe delayed))5A>2C

In exchange for one gauge
Switching to a 214c okiseme is possible.

------ mostly kanji screen:

2A>(5A or walk backwards)>3C
In case of a forward tech----7288
  →端維持……6645
  →端破裂……5360
In case of backward tech---6628
If there is no tech---4857

--------- kanji screen 2
5A>(not the fastest ("not immediately"? or maybe delayed))5A>5B
  If the opponent techs there---7527
  Pursuing without tech---5126
5A>(not the fastest ("not immediately"? or maybe delayed))5A>2C
  If the opponent techs there---7270
  Pursuing without tech---5446
  端破裂設置時……4357

------------ Kanji Screen 3
BE5C>A kick (2A)
  →BE5C>Aerial---6672
  →BE5C>Set up 214c---5930
  →前後狩り追撃……5859
  →その場狩り追撃……6268
  →Setting up 214c from 2C---5439

BE5C>4C>Aerial……6147

--------- End of Kanji.

Only use if there is no tech.
BE5C(1)>A kick(2)>BE5C(1)

The delay you should pick for BE5C
is about the same as walking one step forward.

When not going to the air
破裂設置にしても
十分なりターン
1ゲージで500程度の上乗せ

EX浮遊落下際にBE5Cを挟めば
多少威力は上がる

In reality, at the second loop
it would be wise to form this while hunting techs.

Hunt techs after 5A>5A>2C
then setting up aerials or explosions
will be easy.

The power will drop, but
you can also incorporate the
difficult to tech 4c.

Thanks to Seabass for tl'ing walls of text for a character he doesn't care about lol. Your work is much appreciated by Aoko fans and members of #Mages-Association.
