AC Reset
« on: October 02, 2007, 10:31:20 AM »
Sometimes my Act cadenza resets completely (like right now). It used to happen a lot before, when I played ReACT as well.

Has this ever happened to any of you?

ReACT's reset on me once, and AC's reset on me once. I have no idea what causes it.

Could it be the clock? My motherboard is a bit screwed up since my mom messed with the electrical plugs 2.5 years ago and it affects the clock.

I don't believe so, I didn't get a reset when I changed my comp's clock to see all the special pictures back when they were just found.

Might just be the battery in your mobo as far as the clock issue but random resets sounds like a graphics card or driver problem. You could clean your card, make sure everything's plugged in securely and update to the latest drivers.

Thanks, alt. I was ready to cut my wrists twice for losing my Neko-arc Caos and my Black G attack after beating the game twice with max difficulty and minimum damage.
I'll try and see something about the drivers, but the graphics card is on-board. Could it have been a bit messed up along with the motherboard?

I really doubt that, why would the graphics card of all things cause a savefile reset?

I'm even on a different disk, but it kept resetting.
I've decided to give the bloody hell up and try saving up for a way to repair my motherboard.

I've had it happen multiple times with both versions - that's why I made a backup copy of cfg.cfg after I unlocked everything.

Exactly what I've been doing.
Hasn't suffered reset since, though...
