Error with 06.p file
« on: August 17, 2007, 04:29:14 PM »
This isn't for me but for someone else, they're having a problem running the game and getting an error involving 06.p and a bunch of moonspeak. Did anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it? :slowpoke:

Do you know if they were running the install through Applocale?

EDIT: After a quick reread I realized that your friend might be referring to a problem that happened after the game was installed. If that's the case do you happen to know specific details like what point during the game the error comes up?

Applocale was not used. Daemon Tools, however, was.

The game doesn't even start, the error just pops up.

Umm, are you saying that he's using a pirated version of the game...?

If thats the case I can't help you according to Mizuki's law #1 of forum usage...

If (and this is a big if) he has a legal copy but for some odd reason decided to rip it and use a Virtual CD emulator to run the install, have him run the original CD with Applocale and that should fix it.

Here's a guide for running japanese game installs through Applocale. (It's for a specific game but the process is still similar)
