I don't have a facebook for multiple reasons.
However, it would be interesting if we somehow managed to get the top spot again. It would be rather amusing.

I don't think they would ever bother with a PC game, at this point. Then again, how frequently do you see (good) FGs designed for PCs to begin with?
It's a much less favorable environment compared to what happened in 2010 (to put it lightly!). I do think it's interesting just how badly the community collapsed over the last year, though....

I have been busy playing SC5, GG and some other shit. And quite frankly, I am scared how much my ass will be kicked since the last time I played melty was with you. But if you guys are still alive I will come and play just for the heck of it.

Breast cancer. The charity to give to when you're too stupid to figure out what a worthy charity is so you just go with boobs. I wouldn't be surprised if they went with breast cancer due to the increased likelihood of it bringing a handful of random women to the event.
Sometimes I really can't tell if evo staff are shady or just plain stupid.
P.S. I like the torpedoing of smash by including both brawl and melee. Should make for some interesting reads.

Thats not really a cure. Thats more of a last ditch effort to rid of it, and even then its not 100%.

Yeah if donations were at least going to some useful charity. I donated $5. But seeing how SSBM made it to place 1 respectively place 2 I'm shaking my head in disbelief.
But don't donate anymore on Melty except you manage to get more than $1000 together in the beginning.

It's not really a matter of winning, but rather as a manner of general support. I'd hate to think that only 8 people care to put in money on a game out of countless thousands.
It doesn't bode well in my mind, but hey, its what i think.

I thing a lot more people would be willing if donating actually guaranteed a place.
It was already obvious something mainstream was gonna win, Europeans don't care because they can't participate, and Americans from what i understand are generally too poor to throw away money so it's an understandable result.

Well the only things in a winning position to take that spot are hardly what I'd call mainstream.
MLP is not even close to being finished, and is about ponies fighting.
SSBM is about as far from a traditional fighter as you can get, but still hella fun to watch.
Skull Girls is prolly the best qualifying as mainstream of the 3.

Who cares about being a main game at EVO anyways, last year the sides were awesome, I mean it had even streams, and it had lots of viewers (if it's any important).

We were just smart not wasting money since we didn't decide to win. Should invest in Final Round's next tournament :x. From what I've heard Final Round is getting a better name then EVO and MB is confirmed because last year attendance (was the 4th ou 5th games with more players I think) so it was confirmed right away in the first FR lineup announcement, which had only 6 games.

I'm not good with programming/negotiating, so I can't do that part. The responsible for that part just have to keep the forum updated, so everybody can opine until we're all happy with the conditions. Anyone step forward?
Any ideas for someone who'll gather the money? If no ideas I'd like to suggest Inso since he's the treasurer of the MB BR community already, it's not like it's a really important issue, is it? Maybe it's better to choose someone who lives closer to the programmer we'll pay though, since the taxes will probably be lower.
HTS got rollcaster these days and some friends who play here in Brazil are playing with guys from US in delay 4. Delay 4 is 1 more then I have usually against pretty much everybody inside Brazil in MB. We need that too and I'm almost sure we can raise the money... So Roku could finally have his netplay revenge on me (or not :V).
