...Why has no one mentioned SHIKI? He's a character that legit deserved to be in Melty Blood, period, yet we're talking about stupid Satsujinki and a cross-over character? Come now. |:

Technically, doesn't Roa count as near-side SHIKI? They're using the same body.

However, I do agree that far-side SHIKI with his blood powers would be awesome to have in game.

The roa in MB is a recreation of the original roa, (lightning chucking reality marble wielding badass who doesnt have mystic eyes or a knife) with the memories from all his previous lives added. Hes not the Near-side roa from tsukihime.

SHIKI would easily fit in as a fear induced tatari after Akiha, shiki tohno, and possibly shiki nanaya and akiha vermilion. Plus, he has the potential for a varied and awesome moveset via blood manipulation. On the other hand, he probably wont make it in do to the censoring bullshit in japan. (isnt that why the blood got removed from act cadenza?)

IMO, gameplay wise, SHIKI would fit into MB pretty damn well. The problem is that we need Arihiko first. GO GO EX MOTORCYCLE!
Why do I even bother going to EVO anymore.... D8

Besides he would put the "blood" in Melty Blood. We can't have that, now can we.

Jedah didn't get his blood moves censored, though I suppose the laws could have changed since Vampire Saviour. I can't imagine SHIKI would be much worse than Jedah, really.

No, but MBR had blood in it already.  Specifically during Sacchin's heart rip AD and Nanaya's LA.  Also the back streets stage or whatever it's called (Nero's old stage) used to have an alternate version COVERED in blood.  They took all that shit out for MBAC since it was an actual arcade release and replaced the blood in the moves with SHINEY BLUE LIGHT AWWWWRIGHT.  =\

It's because it's not the blood of the person being stabbed but souls that posessed the host. As seen on KnK4. SAME EFFECT.

If they ever decides to add new characters then these 3 are a must.

Nanaya Kiri (drum sticks)
Aozaki Touko (Puppets)
Araya Souren (Joji Nakata)

NO MORE Akihas, Shikis, and other nightmare versions of "insert any character here".

Araya Souren (Joji Nakata)
Isn't Joji Nakata already represented by Nero? But i agree with the no more nightmare version of <insert any character here>.

I approve of Touko. But there are already 2 George characters. Until now having the same voice actor was okay because those were alternative character versions of their originals, but if you now take a completely different character with the same voice actor in, that would be weird.

So is my grammar.

The voice he puts on while doing the two sounds fairly different though, so unless you already knew, I doubt you'd notice it was the same voice actor.

...not really. It's a difference when he speaks out of role, as Fumihiko Tachiki did in Lucky Star when he spoke nearly all unimportant characters by pitching his voice into the sky. But George is just George. At least I can hear it immediately. I told a fellow Georgefan about him voicing that side character in Kurozuka and he was like "Wut, that's him?".

I'm not saying George isn't a great voice actor. It's just that Araya and Nero are very similar if it comes to their voice. Araya speaks deeper and slower, Nero firmer, but the difference is small.

Eh, maybe it's just me then. I haven't listened too much of his work outside of Type-Moon stuff, though, so I can't really pick him up on reaction.

Well I am a big voice actor fanboy in general (not just Japan), especially if it comes to charismatic and characteristic voices like George's. The most different voice acting he ever made is... Neco-Arc Chaos. And that speaks for itself.

So yeah, another example is that nobody noticed Amelia from Trigun: Badlands rumble being voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, though it was like obvious. Takada from Death Note, too. She speaks rather high pitched there, but you can definitely hear out the characteristics of her voice.

And since they could just port his moveset from F/UC over.

I am not all that sure that porting his move set would be possible, one... the gauge system in F/UC is nowhere near as complex as MB (from AC upward), and the last time that I checked F/UC is a Capcom published game. T-M may own the character and it's likeness but I would not be totally shocked if Capcom owns the system underpinnings to F/UC (which could include the movelists to characters).

How about making a TM fighter with ALL characters :V
Seriousness aside, (I get me Saber... sweet) with some gameplay depth to it and approachability. I am game... can you fund it?

I've said before, the two I'd want to see most in here would be SHIKI and Altrouge Brunestud.

And if they put Arihiko in:

1) It'd better be fucking funny
2) Nanako better be tagging along, and
3) If both of those aren't met I'm going to be pissed because nobody's going to ever seriously pick him, ever, meaning we wasted a slot that was more deserved by someone like SHIKI or Altrouge.

The only way the roster could really be expanded more is to dig down deep:

1) Shijyou Tsukasa. We got so many badass knife wielders; why not one who's horrible at it?
2) Yamase Maiko. AKA the girl Nero ate in the park. Sort of like a Mini-Nero Chaos, but with a few twists.

After that, though, we either have to dip down into normals, or else crossover territory.

Why does the design look like a hybrid of Sacchin and some other timid girl?

If you toss him in, you might as well toss in Lio from KnK....
