I just hope we don't have to wait a full year to play AA. I'm crossing my fingers so that we get it sometime around februrary or march. >_>
Here I'm hoping a NAOMI emulator is released around the time of the arcade release.

Im hoping for this too. found out this exists  :fap: :fap: :fap: and you can obtain it but still needs testing, can't link cause the site that had the info had bios's on it :(
yes it works with the GDRoms not just the Dreamcast thingies cause those have been working for awhile now.

Im hoping for the feb march release more.
Oh cool, didn't know that. It could probably run AA pretty well what with it being a 2D fighter.

depends on your specs my compy will say :(, cause emu sucks Im thinking 70% speed on a game like metly(well it depends MvC2 runs like 85% right now for me and apparently other ppl have had problems with the emus speed compared to the dreamcast ones, btw mobile dreamcast FTW), Im on a lappy so emus rock cause I can play console games on the road, or plane, while with friends.

2.2Ghz duel core intel, intel 950 chipset, with 3GB of ram, so it runs melty fine normally but emued Im not so sure.

It doesn't look like this has been posted so yeah:

Nice vid! Sorry guys I haven't been on here for awhile had to focus on other priorities :)

So basically from what I saw on the vid, the different types of moons call for different movesets? Correct me if I'm wrong of course lol

Also from what I saw on the vid, depending on what moon you select, you get a different version of the original character (like Tohno/Nanaya); or are they still separately selected characters?
Currently Playing: KOF '98: UM (Arcade), Melty Blood (Arcade till I get it on PC!), KOF '02, Arcana Heart, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure

No, the mirrored chars are still separately selected, and each of them has the 3 different moons, which are chosen after you select the char.

i missed going to SBO today so 'll probably go back to CRUB SEGA for more MBAA

the full moon characters feel like the changes they did to the vampire counterparts ofold mirror characters, and vampire characters havve yet more changes and new normals.

fulmoon seems hard to launch for aircombo.

activating blood heat makes the meter drop REALLY REALLY slow now.

arc has an instant drop move that lands her back down to the floor, like nanaya.
she also has a ground move that sucks the opponent back closer for more blockstring or comboing.

nero has a bunch of new moves, like a mosquito swarm,
B deer runs fullscreen now (dunno which moon)
a new EX move  with  a giant hornet that hovers over the opponent like a satelite.

Man, first it was v.Sion's tornadoes, now Arc has something like that too?  These sorts of moves are scary.

Any changes to Nero's Jump C?
I'm willing to bet that his Crescent Moon will still be all HOA HOA HOA still, but Full Moon hopefully will have some new elements.

On a different note, after watching a few scenes in the exhibition video a little more, I've noticed some things.

C-Kouma looks like he's actually the madly different, changed version (as opposed to most characters' Crescent version being very similar to their MBAC incarnations and their Full version being highly different).  Of his normals, only his 5b and j.c are the same.  If you look closely at the combo he does in his single crescent video, he goes 6c5b2bc5c j.bc j.bc > ex-kicks.  You can tell the first move is a c move because it reverse beats right after, and I believe it was mentioned earlier that that particular attack was his new 6c anyway.  His 6c has much less forward range and it doesn't launch, but looks like a potential anti-air normal.  His 2b doesn't lower his hitbox as much as the old one, but still is a fucking big uppercut, so it's prolly still a potential anti-air normal too.  His new 2c is faster, it seems, and his 5c isn't really that notable.  His j.b is kind of hard to see, but it looks like it's shorter range than his old one.  I'm willing to bet that F-Kouma is the one that's most similar to MBAC Kouma, because C-Kouma just seems way too different.

Also, I was disappointed in how similar F-Nanaya's moves are to MBAC Nanaya's.  Looking at the one video clip, the only difference he has are his 2a being a slightly shorter range elbow and 5b being a much longer range kick with forward movement (rather than the old elbow).  Having no elbow means that one of his overheads is potentially lost (5b[b]).  Also, the weird dash at the beginning actually looks more like he's jumping/dashing off of the wall, which may be an a fun new mechanic for MBAA to have.  Additionally, the "flash kick" after his 623 looks like it might actually be a part of the 623.  It MIGHT just be another special that he cancelled the 623 into, but it is a really quick and fluid transition, so it seems somewhat unlikely to me.  This is potentially awesome though, as it allows for him to do more with his basic 2abc5c ground combo (since Full form loses the more powerful reverse beating variants of his ground combo).  Unless his 5c is drastically changed somehow, it looks like his new basic combo will be: 2a5b2bc5c 623x j.bc j.bc throw.  F-Nanaya losing reverse beat means that his blockstring game will be nerfed heavily (no whiff cancel), so I'm confused why he seems to have a lot of the same moveset (still has same 214b, almost all normals, fastfall, similar 623).  Not really sure what to think about it yet, but definitely food for though to any Nanaya players.

I'll prolly look into the other characters more and make further posts analyzing and pondering, but for now that's all.

Nero has even more shit now...

Pretty soon, when you're not looking,he's just going to start airdashing at awkward angles, while summoning things to fill the screen.

as if he wasn't annoying to begin with. hopefully enhancements to each char offset Nero's. his F style sounds like a real bitch to deal with. i imagine him charging up his meter from afar. we'll see EX's of everything.

more from akiba sega: (sorry of other people repeated it)

red arc
now has an air teleport

Len FM
reflectors will either hit or push. but it can be placed in the air or anywhere
will reflect projectiles, but not hisui's arc drive
i said it before- she's an aegis reflector beast!

nanaya FM
now has a new super that resembles ST E.Honda's super
The Nanaya super is faster and does more hits
arc drive is more of a sure hit if opponent is right in front of you.
Horizntal Dragon Kick!!! very K'

Ciel (append from the dedicated MBAA Ciel thread) go visit it for more ciel:
FM launcher is 2c2c
5CC actually exists in Crescent Mode. not in any other modes.
623A (or B) can be done in the air now.
airthrow momentum is completely lost, if you dash then thow, she'll stop in the air for the throw. no more forcing to corner anymore.

Vakiha
OPTIC BLAST super!
dash speed is slower
fire pillars are faster

Nero FM
Bull ram attack from torso, funny looking
slow crow projectile, lots of new projectiles in genera
mantis law seems to be the main launcher in Full moon

Why the fuck do both Nanaya and Shiki get the donkey kick?  First they give them both teleports, now this?  Needs less character similarity.

I'd like to see some of that F-Len and v.Akiha action though.

What's so offensive about donkey kick ? I find it better than most other namings. If you don't like it, then it is your own problem, don't tell others what to do. Man, some people have just nothing better to do than to find problems with namings.

I could even call it a bitchslap kick if I want it for all you care lol
