When's Melty on Steam?
ahaha that's no--wait, what?
-
Most people here are playing Melty Blood: AA? I've been playing Melty Blood: Act Cadenza Ver. B. — Is there a huge difference between the two?
-
There's a few obvious mechanic differences but AA isn't too hard to pick up after playing AC. The main thing you would notice is the moon styles.

MBAA doesn't have nearly as much scrub shit imo
-
2A now puts you on a one way train to proration city.
choo choo
-
It's basically better in every way. There's no netplay for it, but I'd still highly suggest playing MBAA over MBAC.

MBAA has no scrub shit.

LOL I was saying 'nearly' because i haven't played MBAA nearly enough to be completely certain about that, but i know that MBAC did allow certain levels of it[or at least netplay did...]. DOUBLE GTFO FOR J00

MBAA has a system where B and C attacks have super-armor from A attacks.
HELL YEA
-
I feel that dmg output has been jacked up in MBAA, anything above 6k dmg in MBAC would have been eye popping even on vakiha, but it seems that now most characters can break 6k in MBAA, some can even reach 7-8k range
-
Only scrubs get scrubbed out by scrubby shit then complain about it. Anyways MBAC is overall better than MBAA right now. I dont like that shields are near useless or the guard bar, and as someone pointed out, 5k+ damage is the norm. Otherwise the game is kick ass and we'll see where the patches take the game.

Also this only applies to situations where the attacks would TRADE which is imo, scrubby. whoops i mistimed my frame trap/stagger, thanks anti-a armor.

It's more of a counter to anti air 5A trade in favour of grounded than that tbh. That was really dumb.

Eh, wasn't that just a rumor that was disproven? It'd be nice if it is still around, though

I may not be the best player, but watching someone about 5 levels below me do something completely shitty and win multiple rounds because of it is fucking upsetting; Yes I may not be pro but that shit is just stupid and sucks the fun out of it...
-
It's not just a rumor, people just don't know the specifics. I'm pretty sure some specials have it too, but when A attacks would double counterhit with another attack the A attack gets superarmored.
-
I win games so there has to be scrubby shit in MBAA otherwise I wouldn't win games.

Lmfao this made me chuckle

Ugh, stop talking already.

Why is this thread still open? Will this topic be the MBread equivalent to "what's better stick or pad?"

Nah. Everyone agrees that MBAA is better. Some people are just arguing about random irrelevant things.

Oh yeah, the OP. Sorry about that, I totally forgot about the topic. The difference is silly kicks in MBAA.
