Hello creator of See me in Melty, first I would like to thank you for making this site and making it super easy for noobs like me to join and start making lobbies and playing the game with others. It's embarrassing for me to say but I'm too noobish to use IRC or Steam or even registering in anything that has an email validation and I always let my email expire so I have trouble keeping track of those... Now that I think of it, that is some high level stuff of being a noob
lol.
Anyway, I would like to inform you that the website that you have made have been experiencing some technical difficulties for some time now. The first noticeable major problem at least as far as I've observed was that lobbies do not automatically close after a very very long time. As of now I can still see the lobby "created: 153835 min ago" as the longest and still up till as of now which was created months ago. This list can easily pile up and fill the entire viewing area if multiple people didn't manually delete their lobby after use and can obstruct the entire viewing area of the site. And now there is another major problem of not being able to create new lobbies at all. Users can still post their IP and play with each other but the one key defining feature of the entire site which was the ability to create lobbies for easy one click joining has not been accessible as of this moment. Then there are some minor issues that were always experienced like the occasional "freezing" when entering massages, user list names getting stuck even after logout, outdated link of the Add_Handler_Protocol.bat and even to some request to lengthen the number of messages displayed for when many people simultaneously chat at the same time easily burying their message until it can't be seen.
If you want I could volunteer and try to help in some way like maybe updating the instructions to include solutions to frequently encountered issues like restarting the browser after using Add_Handler_Protocol.bat if the CCCaster fails to launch the first time creating a lobby, etc.
I hope the lobby would be fixed by the time Melty launches on Steam. Or at least some kind place that new players could use and hold their interest long enough to make them stay and thereafter appreciate the game. I want to help in anyway that I can especially since time is of the essence with the Melty Steam release countdown ticking. Maybe I should start learning how the site's coding work to be of greater help? In any case I'm willing to volunteer for this, or at least until the potential new steam players start coming in.
