How boring is the desert?

It seemed to go on infinitely when I first played it. I've never played it again after that. Huge waste of time. It would be awesome if you could unlock different announcers like in the PS2 version.

Survival Mode = Shield Practice for me. The Enemies after 24 do some stupid crap after that, which forces really bad habits.

It certainly is a good opportunity to work my execution against several characters quickly with a bit of pressure, though.

Survival mode most certainly does not equate to fighting a thinking, breathing human being. The AI is inherently limited, and doesn't perform to nearly the standard of most players out here.

It's a sad sad reality. There's only so much the AI (at least in current times. Who knows, maybe in the future, fighting games will have godly AI.) can do. Even when it's fed data from human matches (a la Booster for IaMP) it's still limited. Why? Because it only knows how to react to certain actions. It doesn't really know how to pressure people or play mindgames. At least it's a step up from stock AI, though.

Not quite true - they could make the AI smarter quite easily by giving it amazing reactions, forcing it to always do full combos, proper heat/circuit sparks and NOT intentionally leaving openings while blocking. The challenge they face is having it not be TOO easy and not impossible to beat either.
They could also make it do good blockstrings out of a bunch of possible mixups. This would be limited to the number they program, and perhaps even program a chance for it to do random shit like it normally does instead.

Everytime I do survival mode I always get tired after the 35th round or so. I never can put forth enough effort to stay alive or let alone play the game in general. I think the farthest I got was the 84th round.

They could always make a god mode like they did in UT, where the AI hit the instant they see you...

Actually it wasn't that hard to get 12 million with Nero. I didn't have much trouble beating Survival with Nanaya either. Still working on doing it with NAC though, his low defense makes it a bit taxing.

I believe against Neco/NAC at proper health or against VAkiha you can do j.C 5BC 2CB j.BC j.BC Airthrow for that much damage.

I beat survival mode only using NAC j.C today whilst i was bored. I did better then i do with my actual characters though.
