Well, I definitely don't spam A.

But for me, it seems the regular BnBs just don't cut it. His super armor just likes to be on through to the launcher...or his stupid drill attack hits me first.

Chalk it up to bad luck, I guess. Or bad timing. Maybe I should take the time to observe G666's frame data...

About A-spam... I actually find it helpful to do that when he's charging up his moves. 5 or so quick jabs tend to knock him out of his super armor before he can attack. Or maybe it was more? o.o But I suppose if you and he start at the same time, his charged move will probably come out before your A-japs take effect.

I use aerial openners against him... j.b -> j.c jumpcancel j.b -> j.c -> j.a jabs till I land and use 2A to start going back into BnB. If he was charging a move when I was in the air, he usually gets knocked out by the time I land or after a couple 2A's.

Think I'll go for 10 seconds. Don't think it's possible, though >_>

As for methods, most EXs (including kohaku's j.214c) do decent damage, and j.C is win.

Edit: Haha, I think I'm the only one that always uses 2P for controls. Does anyone else?

2P side pride here, mostly because I'm on a laptop and using 1P keys would result in my hitting the trackpad all the time.

so, I fooled around a bit and got up to this point

that was my best time record

(the previous picture was from a different round)

I then proceeded to suck, and then

on my first try with neco arc, got almost as good a time as my best with kohaku

Though I've now beaten G666 with everyone in under 20 seconds, except for Nero, Sion TATARI, and Hisui. Those are all under 30 seconds, though >_>

Unfortunately, there's no way to save a replay after doing it. :'(

Unfortunately, there's no way to save a replay after doing it. :'(

Indeed, though a future patch might contain that feature. If it does, I'll definitely make some replays.

Also, G666's specials can be avoided by dashing towards him with most characters, and being above him can do wonders with avoiding attacks.

It's also helpful if you can ex-shield the fireballs. We're talking massive meter gain from that, the amount is just below shielding Re-Act Aoko's specials.

I don't have a car on campus, but if you ever feel like making a drive to NC State or somesuch, just post up on here and we can get something worked out.

It'll be rad to have more people to play against. Me and a few other people that go to State play on a semi-regular basis, with myself having decidedly more interest in it than anyone.

Maybe someday we can find enough people to play with to earn our own Regional thread.
