If it's a desktop and your motherboard has an agp\pci-e slot then you just need a video card that supports dx9.

Is there any website you can still place an order?
I got mine from CDJapan.co.jp
Price i got it for is round the middle range of all those ebay prices.
Thanks. Hopefully there would be a few left after i get my paycheck.
I was going to do this myself, but I don't think there are any left because about a month of so ago Carnival Phantasm Vol.3 had a Special Edition version, which I presume was the copy with the game. I messaged them about it and never got a response, I'm still tempted to risk getting the other copy in case it does have it.
I just checked Type-Moon's website and there is only one version being sold which is the limited edition. I checked amazon.jp and they have it there also for almost the same price so I'm assuming it is safe to order it from japancd.

1)winamp, pandora, grooveshark, youtube playlist of music, etc.
2)Mute in-game music
3)Custom soundtrack
4)??????????
5)Spend hours making an actual modded game file soundtrack anyway.

I love that it's so much easier to IAD with stick now. Just a simple 96AB or 76AB does the trick. Even if this was present in the previous games, I find it much easier than before. And pressing multiple buttons together works so much better than in SF. In the button display, it shows that I pressed A for 1 frame before it registers A+B and I can even do a 6A~B, yet I still dash. SF is so much less forgiving.

Too late for that, my order of limited edition from cdjapan got canceled because they have had all of preorder slots taken already.

Uh guys, what ports do I forward?

I portforwarded ; Network > Matchmaking Mode > Arcade Mode > TCP/UDP NO: 46318

Not sure if this is correct, also sometimes when I go into arcade and waiting for a challenge I get an error.

--

Is there a translation for the network mode anywhere?

All I know is the method of waiting in Arcade for a challenge.

If you are using the matchmaking option, then port forward the default ports, both TCP and UDP : 46318. (I'm not even sure it's necessary for the matchmaking option.)
If you are using the direct connect option, you have the option to host on a port that you specify, therefore you must port forward whatever port you told it to host on, but the default is : 46318.
With out readable error messages, it's hard to say why you are getting errors in matchmaking. But I'd guess it's because you are not in Japan, and are just timing out to whoever you are connecting to, who is prolly in Japan. I'd recommend getting on IRC, finding someone to play there, and using the direct connect option to play.

For what it's worth, you can edit System/NetConnect.dat to manually configure all the ports.

In-game menu seems like it was rather hastily done, by comparison.

I've got framedisplay mostly updated for the demo now... After I fix the bugs I'll do a full release whenever the full version of the game migrates my way.

Also need to check the Ougon support since the 1.10 patch never worked right in Wine... ugh.

How to we apply this update? Do we download the new trial or do we run some kind of updater in the current trial?

Confirmed that you need a serial number to netplay, the game got leaked on 4chan.

Seems like a questionable decision for a game that will not get a standalone release.  I mean yeah, piracy is bad, but it seems like a waste of development time.

Just a question. Will the retail version have netplay or will that be incorporated later with a patch from the devs?

Yeah it does seem pretty dumb. If it was a standalone game at least it'd be easier/cheaper to buy.

Wonder how long it'll take before that gets worked around though.

From what I've read, the game will have netplay patched into it by the devs at a later date.

New Info: http://meltyblood.info/?p=651

Can anyone translate? =x

It leaked, but let's buy it anyway. Who cares if it's initially more expensive, you can sell the Carnival Phantasm blu-ray later and in the end will be cheaper then a stand alone version. The game alone wont cost much less then that, and there will be no blu-ray to sell and get money back in a stand alone version. Plus, they deserve it, everybody who plays Melty Blood knows that (but scrubs maybe, but who cares about them).

Since I needed the Linux fix functionality, I have taken the freedom of updating mauve's tool for Rev1.1: mbaacctool-rev11 [Updated, generic version, see here.]

As before, it does key rebinding and makes MBAACC run under wine on Linux.

Please dont bite my head off for this. I know it might seem like a "dumb" question but I need to know:

How do we get this game if we dont pirate it?

Please forgive my noobiness.
