Framedisplay v2.3 out.

If you were using one of the prerelease versions, this fixes a bunch of bugs.

I remember seeing versions of the framedisplay showing hitstun etc.. What option enables that?

That was for a version of the MBAC framedisplay. The additional stuff was done by Sprint.

The thing is, between MBAC and MBAA the format drastically changed. So I would have had to re-derive everything from the new format and I simply did not care that much.

I'm also not sure the original was 100% correct or trustworthy enough to actually use. I think you're probably better off just testing it as before.

I was wondering why there wasn't an option for it. I'll just continue doing what I originally did.

It does work but there's a bug with the font rendering code that will cause it to blow up in certain menus.

Haven't written a fix for it atm, too much crap to do, but it wouldn't be too hard.

It works pretty decently. Make sure you have d3dx9_36.dll either in wine's windows/system32 directory or in the game directory. You might have to add a native, builtin override for it in winecfg under libraries. As for the crashes mauve mentioned, he'd written a tool that fixes them for the trial version and allows key rebinding. I updated it for the current (and with luck future) version. To use the tool, just unpack it to your game folder and start mbaacctool.exe with wine. It will launch MBAA.exe with the necessary fixes and key rebinds.

Is Ryougi Shiki's stage gone or am I blind?
(I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5stkQEVi6s, the stage begins at 1 : 24)
stage's still there, but only for arcade. it's unselectable in any vs/training modes.

it's not unlockable either since it doesn't have a name, along with two stages for g-akiha.

even if you select it using memory editing, it doesn't play the right music track anyway.

it's a hacked exe.

the stage has no name and plays the track that is normally blocked out (normally you'd hear the theme of the next stage if you forced yourself into it).

that and there are g-akiha and dust of osiris on his select screen.

Quick question; are the Nekos generally considered banned due to their hitboxes? I know they're pretty shitty characters but I didn't think they were flat-out banned, but a friend of mine keeps trying to tell me they are in the new PC release.

They're not banned, a couple japanese players use them and at least two US players myself included play them.

Neco Arc Chaos is just bottom tier and Neco Arc was also bottom tier for a while so you rarely see them.

Both players playing at 640x480 fullscreen, with processor affinity set to 1 core from the task manager seems to fix the problem for me.

I've got a peculiar problem. It seems that whenever I enter Heat, be it manually in C-Moon, automatically in H-Moon or by IH in F-Moon, the whole game suddenly gets laggy and runs at around 50fps. However, if I ever enter Blood Heat, everything is perfectly fine. Turning animated backgrounds off in the options solves this, but if possible, I prefer leaving them on. Exactly what specs are needed to run a game like this?

Specs (laptop btw):
[ OS ]
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.110622-1503)
[ CPU ]
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
[ MEMORY ]

[ DISPLAY ]

[ DisplayAdapter ]
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M
3762 MB RAM
DriverVersion : 8.15.0010.2291

[ DirectX ]

This has to be a driver issue. Are all drivers up to date? What you describe is the shader effect's fault. If you play on windowed, you can also try disabling Windows Aero.

Or it can be something connected to the optimus technology in the 5xx nvidia series. I have a 525 in my laptop, but it seems to run fine on both integrated graphics and the nvidia accelerator. Try running on both of the options and see if it makes any difference.

My system:
Code: [Select]
[ OS ]
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.110622-1506)

[ CPU ]
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz

[ MEMORY ]

[ DISPLAY ]

[ DisplayAdapter ]
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

DriverVersion : 8.15.0010.2361

Now this is really weird... After trying your methods (not yet updated drivers though. But I doubt there are new ones. My laptop needs to get the drivers released by Asus and not the ones directly by nVidia because of the Power4Hybrid, and they release drivers real slowly...) everything's smooth again, even with my old settings. But what really baffled me was why does it lagg when I'm in Heat and not in Blood Heat.
