And it seems that Satoken either didnt make it (or quit). To bad, I was hoping forward to seing the "new slim Satoken" which was his promise in an interview I saw with him on youtube :-\

Wow, I expected more Nanayas and Sions. 5 Tohnos is a surprise too, I didn't see a lot of videos of him since VerB came out. I gotta root for Yukinose and SII, let's hope they don't lose first round like they did last year :V

I don't think anyone should be contemplating tiers based on a single-elim, team format. I expected to see more Nanayas based on the many casuals of him that were uploaded. But who knows, maybe there were a lot of good Nanayas w/ weak teammates or maybe the Nanaya players were weak themselves. And what about the other good players that used random characters that didn't enter for RL reasons. Perhaps if SBO MBAC was a singles event, then we may be able to draw some logical conclusions.

The results are pretty random, I wouldn't take anything on tiers based on those. Especially more V.Sion that normal sion and other such oddities.

SII (Arc) and Yukinose (Akiha) got second place, but they still did a really good job getting that far. Much propz to them both!
And ILS's team was eliminated first round iirc.

Though I had to miss a big chunk of the preliminaries, here were some highlights of Tougeki MB:AC:
-Lucky Star. Not just his play, but you'd expect someone with this name to look like an otaku, but he looked pretty badass and played all his matches with a cig in his mouth. Too good
-Jeffrey Manson has red hair lol
-Grow slapping hands away during the handshake before his team match and paying dearly for it later :V
-The Kouma player on ILS' team. I think he went by the name muscle last year. I didn't like ILS' Nanaya much, but his Kouma teammate did awesome stuff all around
-And of course, Denpa. You can probably count the amount of mistakes he made throughout the entire tourney on one hand
