Personally, I believe that Melty should just stick with Tsukihime and Rakkyo characters. Adding FSN would seem like (to me) too many characters for a fighting game. Besides, I agree with grandlordzero - Melty's more about vampires, murder, etc., while FSN is more about spirits that (as far as I can remember) actually fight by a given set of rules.

And to actually stay more on the original topic, I'd have to say that having Touko in Melty would be nice~

No you haven't played it then. Cause in professional play it usually takes 2-4 combos depending on the character per match. Melty can be like 2-4 combos as well for a match, but unlike in melty, FUC you get burst really easily unless you're getting hit by 623C all day, but those combos don't tend to do TOO much.

If you want Fate characters, go play FUC.

Leave melty the way it is with what series they use. KnK was alright just because of the eyes of death perception.

IMO the characters from the KnK series have fairly "established" powers/abilities in that there's a lot of canon detail and stuff of how their combat abilities work so I think that would make them fit in well in the game if they made it. However we can't have random made up shit like Kokutou getting new shit through some new story garbage they threw in a new MB and now he can fight. In other words I think the characters in KnK who DO fight would make more sense being in the game than, say, mech hisui.

and definitely moreso than seifuku akiha

Neko Arc and Mech Hisui are the only two joke characters the series needs. Anything more then that is a waste of disc space.

-Asagami I don't personally feel would translate into a fighter well.  All she could do was twist shit up at a distance, and you couldn't even actually see the power itself without mystic eyes.  She's not physically adept in the slightest, nor does she have any kind of superhuman abilities.  Miyako doesn't make much sense, but at least she can kung fu bitches in the face, you know?  Asagami's only power is fucking invisible.  =\
-Araya could be pretty good I guess.  You could have zombie/puppet summons and some kind of barrier counter shit I guess.  He's got physical prowess as well, so you could prolly do something interesting enough with him.  He's still sort of boring though, imo.
-Seven...I guess they could do some kind of silly stuff for a joke character, but we really don't need more joke chars.  =\

Touko, SHIKI, Kiri, and Arihiko (not as a joke!) actually have lots of potential though. 
-Touko has puppets, ether projected briefcase summons, and rune magic - which could be long range (writing runes in the air with her cig) or close range (writing runes directly on people).
-SHIKI has mad physical prowess (demon strength!) and all the awesome manipulation of his own blood shit.
-Kiri's a badass assassin with big spikes as weapons.
-Arihiko has...DELINQUENT POWER!  (totally legit!)

I agree in most, but Asagami's power invincible right? then I bet Melty can have her which she can only use skills that suddenly hit enemies and stuff, you know force power. but atleast melty should have some cool wind effect for the projectile of her force powers. for Araya, yeah he's cool! but is not boring, we could enjoy a warachia like guy who can summon.
