Depends on how canon is the movie compared the the actual novel. Which, I'm sure, the novel is much more so. In BMW she has blue hair too.

BMW is a fan project by WERK. As such, completely irrelevant to canonical discussions. (they fucked up several key plot-points anyway. Which is fine, because they gave us the awesomeness of a god-damn crossover rpg. Sachin using Erupting Burning Finger? Mucho Gusto.)

The novels however, I would assume are canonically superior to the animation. Though i wonder, did they ever actually STATE in the novels that Touko's hair was blue? or was that just taken from Takeuchi's artwork?

Either way, I swear I read somewhere that it was retconned...

Feel free to debunk me on anything though. Been a while since I went perusing through fuyuki/mirrormoon/beastslair/wherever.

BMW was started before the movies, and is a doujin game and therefor unofficial.

KnK movies are an official Type-Moon project, so its fair to assume Touko's red hair is an official retcon until proven otherwise.

Anyway, IMO, the only knk characters other then ryougi that have any actual right to be in mb are Touko and Araya, just because those are the only other characters that actually kept the plot in motion. Asagami/Fujino/Lio/Godsword/Enjou/Alba were all being influenced and used by Araya in some way or another, as he used them all as "Sacrifices" for Ryougi. As for movesets, theyd all be damn near impossible in mb other then lio and azaka. Azaka is already "in" though, and we dont need ANOTHER knife user, even if Lio actually DOES have potential for a unique moveset with his feral-movements and lol-canibalism. IMO, use that feral-moveset for a new DAA, or TATARI Makihisa or something. (Kokuto can be argued to be the most influential character in the knk storyline, but as stated earlier, having ANOTHER tohno look-alike is fucking retarded.)

Never forget that MB is supposed to be centered around Tsukihime. KnK characters are all fine and good, but there more like fun-extra's. Unless they have some sort of relevance to the tsuki-plot, there's not much reason for them to be there. (there's still the whole Touko vs Aoko scenario going on, and lol eyes vs eyes for ryougi and tohno, and Araya can easily end up ryougi's TATARI fear thingie. Ryougi never feared any of the other villains. Not even Lio IIRC.)

Im prolly the minority with that view, but i still dont see why characters like Lio and Asagami should get in before characters like Kiri, Arihiko, SHIKI, etc.

TATARI can't form his image without a starting point. Who there even knows Kiri? Kouma? Heck, he himself is a TATARI image IIRC. Shiki obviously doesn't count and neither does Nanaya.

Shiki Nanaya as a boy did know his father and was old enough to have subconscious memories about him.  Kouma also fought and killed him.  There is also a slim possibility that there was interaction/cooperation between the various demon hunting clans, and Kiri was the leader of the clan.  Looking at it that way, it's possible to have links to many people with characters like Ryougi and the maids being from demon hunting clans as well as the Tohno family doctor being well versed in both demon and demon hunting clans (this same doctor being an influence on Miyako learning chinese martial arts). 

In other words, there's plenty of ways to twist the small unknown factors to work in their favor for an influential character such as Kiri.

No ST has made me hate Claw regardless of what game he is in and how bad he is I don't want a character I like to play like him =(

I'll get hype for some drumstick assassination though.

I dunno, I've always felt miffed that the wallstick mechanic from Ciel could have more of a presence in MB. Even if he doesn't have to exactly be hurr durr 50/50 it's something that has potential for basing a char around imo.
