I've been hearing about this..... But what the hell is it? Do the Japanese really think Ver.B is that bad? How much actually needs to be fixed?

Oh, there's some crazy glitches. If you read the Japanese forum down at the bottom and try to translate it, you'll see.

I don't know an ounce of Japanese.

Maybe this is the reason why they haven't dropped the console version yet. Not that I heard of anything suggesting that.

Well they had a Location Test a while ago and now they have officially announced that they are creating Melty Blood VerB2. I haven't been reading the bbs that much lately but a while back people were complaining about Sions superamor and stuff like that....

I guess this shouldn't really come as a surprise. I mean with the re-addition of clash frames to characters who lost them, there was bound to be some retarded shit that would come up with other characters too.

Can someone please define the changes for Correction Edition, and / or when its arcade release date is? Someone previously mentioned 'the japanese forum', but I don't know which this is.

On the homepage of this board (where you can see all the subforums) it's the very last forum that has japanese text and description. If your browser is not configured for it, then you'd have to go through all that, and it's kind of a pain if you haven't done it before (and can't read Japanese). I believe it was released 3/20 but I personally don't know all the changes. It's worth getting, though, since it takes out glitches with Sion and Kouma, among other things.

The only person that appears in that thread to have info posted it in an encoding that I cannot determine - it isn't Shift, EUC, Big5, Unicode, UTF-8, anything.

In fact, on Ecole's site, I believe it says they started work on the B2 on 3/20, not released it:

Any ideas? I don't want to buy ver. B for our arcade if it'll just get the boot later. -_- Are the Sion glitches really that bad?

There are several arcades in the US that already have Ver. B2.

Also, there's a chance it's in Western ISO (don't ask). That thread is totally ass-random at times with the encoding, I know.

Don't worry about buying ver.B, because you can get the B2 upgrade for free (+shipping).

I am literally days away from buying a Melty Blood Ver. B kit, so please reply with serious info if you can:

A: This means I should buy a B kit, correct?
B: What do you need to have to get B2 from a B kit? Be specific, link me to a page with the upgrade info, etc.
(edit: added question, 8:04:19)
C: What does "Western ISO (don't ask)" mean? I can't leave any info out here, I need to make sure I'm getting things right.

There's GOT to be an official page somewhere - heck, even if you point me to someone's post, I can follow up with them. Where are you getting your info?

Here, call Tokyo Game Action at this number: (978) 297-1295, and ask for Andy. He's already installed ver.B2 as of last week, and he had ver.B before that. He's a really helpful guy(though also very busy) and can speak Japanese as well, so he should be able to point you towards the official pages at Ecole.
