So I'm Getting Ready for a MBAA tourney and.....(common characters?)

Yeah, kind of a hypothetical thread, especially since tourneys are few and far between, but work with me.

If I'm getting ready to go to a tourney, what common characters should I be looking for? More specifically, what phases?

I was going to say "What 10?" but I have no clue if that's too many or not enough. In short, I'm asking what characters should I be pretty familiar with?

Vshi, Tohno, Mecha, Akiha/VAkiha, Kohaku, Ciel, NERO

There is always a Nanaya in my experience.  Especially at small local tourneys.

I'm not. rofl. But I have no idea what all characters are actually common in this game.

I figured "yeah, i can learn the ones that are in my region", but i figured in the event I get kidnapped and wind up at something serious, what the fuck winds up being the Ryu/Kens, Steves/Laws, etc etc of this game.

H-Vsion, C & H-Tohno, maybe full as well?...........F-Akiha & maybe the other two, but yeah, F, ALL Kohaku's  , C & F-Ciel, and ALL Neros. If I'm wrong, my apologies.

Let's see.

H-VAkiha, Nero in general, H/C-Kohaku, H-Ryougi, H-Vsion are what I see as being the more common characters. You'll probably see at least one.

Characters you probably won't see:

S-Akiha, F-Len, H-WLen, Nekos, Teams (except Hisui&Kohaku), Aoko, and Warc

The last two I find kind of strange, I guess people just stopped using them as much.
