So, who plays what as of now? Who did you play in previous MB's? :)
I just started out so, I have been messing with (T) Shiki and Aoko. Tried Kouma for a bit so I am still on edge with him.
Nothing played in the past. :-X

Len, Nanaya, Tohno, Chaos, Sacchin, blah blah blah. :V

Why didn't anyone think of this sooner?
I play Hisui as main, Tohno as secondary, and Len also sometimes when I feel that Hisui or Tohno just aren't short enough.

For MBAC PC I just switched to Shiki Tohno as my main and I'm thinkin Arcueid as my secondary but I'm still trying to find my groove.
For MBFT and MBAC Arcade I used Ciel as my main and V.Akiha as my secondary. Oh yea, I used Shiki and Sion for the original MB. :V

I main Ciel as of Ver.B PC and Ver.B PS2 and I alt. Aoko.
Also in MB:R I play Ciel only

I first started off with Akiha. Because i thought she was hot.
I use Nanaya as a main, and Aoko was my alt.

In MBR, I mained KohaHisu, and played a bit of Satsuki and Nanaya every now and then.
Now in MBAC, I play KohaHisu with NAC as secondary.

After Final Tuned and Act Candenza, I play Twins, Sacchin and Kohaku standalone.
Dabble in Miyako and solo Kohaku.

Similarly to Akira I originally started off playing Akiha because I thought she was hot. lol On the side I always played Sacchin though, because I was always interested in her unorthodox method of play (I had never really seen a character play almost solely based on OTG reset loops).
Ever since MBAC, I picked up Nanaya mainly due to the fact that I always found him cool as hell. I also played around with Warc and Hisui (as well as still playing Akiha and Satsuki semi-seriously) during this time.
Nowadays my main is Nanaya and my secondary is Sacchin (even though I honestly think there are way too many Nanaya and Satsuki players already -_-). I still enjoy playing on a casual level with Akiha, Hisui, and Warc though.

Like any beginning MB player, I used Tohno Shiki. Then I went to Nanaya Shiki, then tried Ciel because of her cool 5CC, then settled on Kohaku.
Then I realized that two maids are better than one, so my ReAct mains became KohaHisui, Nanaya, then Shiki, even solo Kohaku if I'm feeling generous.
Now in MBAC, I play KohaHisu with NAC as secondary.

Fine, just to be different, mine is still the same as Re-Act, except there's NAC thrown in. :V I've been trying to learn Warcueid and both Akihas though.

Ever since MB:R, I've been hanging onto Ciel, and Len as a second character...needless to say, I'm horrid with both. <<
When I picked up MB:AC, I dropped both mostly, and I picked up Aoko as my main..no one else, really, but if I had to pick a second, It'd probably be NAC. [>> what?]

I started out playing as Kohaku on Re-act, and stayed with that up through now. I use Mech-Hisui and Len as secondaries sometimes
I have to admit, now that I've been playing MBAC though, NAC is pretty fun.

Started out in Re-Act with Arc due to OMG-I-Just-Finished-Arc's-Tsukihime-Storyline obsession. Moved on to Akiha then back to Arc and then back to Akiha again. :psyduck:
I main Akiha currently and alt Arc, but I've been learning Vsion, Warachia, Nanaya, and Warc lately. Been messing around with Aoko and MHisui too, but on a much more casual not-even-bothering-to-learn-combos level.

I've been using Ciel as main ever since I started playing. My secondaries are Hisui and Nanaya and I play Akiha on occasion.

Back when I first started I was attached to V.Sion and Sion...I stopped playing and somewhere along the line, by the time I started again, I fell in love with Sacchin's beastiness. At this point I'm pretty shitty with most characters as my secondary, but I'm looking to polish either Hisui or Sion (maybe even Aoko) for the role...Satsuki will probably always be my primary though, thus why anyone else is just fine under the steamroller.

I started on MB:AC with Kouma, played on and off for two months
Then a Len who played for a week beat me 5 games in a row and I retired Kouma
Now I play Mech-Hisui - also experimenting with possible secondaries.. enjoying Shiki Tohno so far.

Played Len ever since MBR, and I've kept Len.
Played for about a year and a half, probably at the rate of 10 minutes per 2 weeks or so.
In other words, I suck....>_>

v-akiha: tried a round with everybody when I got ReAct. Red hair + fast + double dash got me from the start.
Warc: el stiffo. She hits hard, even when you half-ass combos. I like how she plays but the habit of 2C as a trip messes me up all the time.
Miyako: she's fun but just looking at her full screen combo makes me cross-eyed. Not very good with her.
Failed as:
Arc: Well you finish tsukihime and you have to play arc. no way around it. Never got anywhere with her because of the damn delays on her combos.
Ciel: Well you throw shit around, the bnb isn't hard ...but simply wasn't my character. That, and there was a guy who beat me like 27 times in a row with her when I was just starting the game...yeah. As it turns out, I don't catch on things fast at all =)

Ohoho..same here. I finished Tsukihime for the first time awhile back (Arc's arc, of course) so I play Arc. The falling delays get kind of annoying, but it's not too bad. As secondary, I haven't actually picked anyone up yet, but I'm looking at Warc or one of the Shikis.

Warc has been always been my irreplaceable main, but my secondary has gone all over the place. It was Warachia for the longest time, but now it's kind gone to Nanaya and Kouma.

Since the original game, it's been like this I believe:
Akiha -> Warachia -> Shiki -> Nanaya -> Nero -> Ren -> Miyako

I see few people played since the original Melty Blood. I've been playing since then, myself.
I don't have much of a main, I try to balance through all the characters I'm interested in:
Shiki, Nanaya, Aoko, Ren, Vampire Sion, Red Arcueid, White Ren (new)
That's about the order of my character specialty, but as I said, I'm quite balanced through all of those. Some of them (V. Sion, Warcueid), I started playing out of sheer curiousity because no one played them, as opposed to their normal version.
And, as it's been historically, no one plays Warakia :P (also surprised at lack of Nero players here)
I'm considering picking him up, as well as the maids team.

Lol, I remember the first Melty Blood, when Tohno Shiki had the exact same movelist that they later gave to Nanaya Shiki later had. That's right, in the first Melty Blood, Shiki Tohno did the knife multi-slash, teleports and multi-hit uppercut-kick. Then in ReAct, they took ALL of that away and gave it to Nanaya. I was sooo dissappointed but I stuck with him anyway regardless of how much downgraded he seemed. In the end, he turned out to be in a higher tier than Nanaya. I was so proud of him :P
But yeah. I really like Shiki and I'll stick with him no matter how they nerf him (in the end, both versions are cool). The same with all my characters. I hate tier whores. I use my guys cause they're characters I'm interested in. I won't use Kouma no matter how broken he gets, I just don't care about him.
WARAKIA. No one uses this guy. And he's not bad, he's actually kinda cool. I've never fought a decent one at all; I'm going to have to pick him up for myself.

Been messing with Nanaya a lot lately and getting into Nero. Nanaya is damn fun, I just need to not have knife spam fits :V. Nero is fun as hell tho. Aoko has been shelved for the moment :-\.

Well, the problem is that I will master Nero or Nanaya WAY before I master even Star mine placement with Aoko. Maybe one day I will get back to her.

I've been playing Miyako a lot lately cause her combos are very addicting(and cool to watch) ;D
I really like her voice acting too.
she is also one of the more balanced character in the game (normal speed, strong combos, but short attack range)

I have a buncha characters i play on the side, but it doesnt really matter cause my main will like, always be Sion.
When i started, my list of mains went like this:
Kohaku -> Ciel -> Kohaku -> Sion -> V.Akiha -> Sion -> Kohaku -> Ciel -> Sion
and ive stuck with her since. Keep in mind i would change my main like, every week or every few days in Japan.

I'm starting to change my characters around. I now play Ciel main, Hisui secondary, and Kohaku at times. Its hard to decide whether to use Ciel or Hisui, though. I tried the dual maids, but I just can't get used to the limits they added to both.

I play Team Meidos (Color 28) with Hisui on point. I love to place a meaty Kohaku plant. Otherwise my secondary is Nero (Color 14).
