SOLD - MBAA:CC ARCADE kit
« on: January 17, 2011, 08:12:11 PM »
SOLD!

Hi Melty Bread,

It is with great regret that I must part with our copy of Melty Blood Actress Again: Current Code.  Unfortunately, it was a big loss for Arcade UFO, and I need to sell the board to recoup the loss a bit.  Originally, we figured it wouldn't matter whether or not it did well since Tetris Grandmaster 4 was supposed to be on the same hardware, but that release was canceled.

The price I'm asking is USD $1,400 (no trades/non-negotiable) shipped for the full kit, which includes:

- Ringwide board with MBAA:CC Pre-installed
- Security dongle (required)
- MBAA:CC Ringwide Disc (unnecessary since the game is already installed)
- Power adapter for Net City/New Net City/Lindbergh cabinets
- Original Movelists/Signage/Poster (sealed/brand new condition)

The original price was 238,000 yen which is over $2,800.  I guarantee that this is the cheapest kit on the market currently.  It was ranked #16 in highest grossing video arcade games in Japanese arcades for 2010, despite being released halfway through the year.

What you would need to get this running:

- A Net City/New Net City/Lindbergh cabinet
OR
- JVS converter and a way to supply proper voltage to the board.  It's possible, but if you go this route, I can't offer any support.

If I don't get any serious inquiries within a week, it'll go on Yahoo Auctions Japan.  Please reply to thread or PM.

Thanks for looking!

May i ask what the monthly revenue it was getting at your arcade? I'm inquiring for Arcade Infinity, you can PM me here, or onto the AI twitter account.

And yes its a shame regarding TGM4, I would have personally bought the Ringwide board for myself.

Could one of the local New York Players inform the ChinaTown Fair of this offer?

I wish I could make a serious inquiry on this.

I know almost nothing when it comes to arcade boards, but is there an easy way to get this to play on a tv that won't break the bank?

It's funny that you post this in a community that hails the poverty. I doubt that there's an arcade shop owner or sth which is interested in this on this forum. On top of that, how likely is it that, even if someone bought the machine, he has the technical understanding to maintain it? You can't just call your ordinary cable guy to fix your broken imported arcade machine.

For the record, I have 4 separate inquiries on the board right now all from this thread.  Maybe poverty gamers aren't in as much poverty as you think :)

Cheers and thanks for the PMs everyone.  You guys should all have a response now.

Zaelar, the board outputs VGA, so all you need to display it is a computer monitor or TV that supports 640x480.

Well okay, my bad.

And now I'm really confused about this forum.

If it isn't a matter of business, could the buyer post who they are/where (and if) they plan to have it setup?

I'm interested in knowing this as well.  A lot of people were wondering who got the board (to play it, of course), and I'd like to update the Arcade Locations thread with correct info.

Family Fun Arcade
10363 Balboa Blvd.
Granada Hills, CA 91344
(818) 360-0419

It is set up on a head to head (each player has his/her own cabinet to play on) Cyber Lead Japanese cabinet.
Current price is 50c.

I will be holding regular tournaments bi-weekly (possibly bi-monthly), as posted here: http://www.meltybread.com/forums/tournaments-and-events/ffa-socal-airdasher-bi-weeklies-season-2011-year-of-too-many-games!/

I have also made a thread for players to meet up here: http://www.meltybread.com/forums/regional-community/ffa-socal-melty!-%28ah-gg-and-bb-too!%29/. We usually meet every Thursday night for the main 4 new school fighters (MB, AH3, BB, GG); Friday and Saturday nights do really well, also. If you want to stop by and want competition to know you're coming, post there.

We are planning on getting the newer version of the game when it comes out as well (it's supposed to be a free patch).

P.S. I am working on getting a direct feed of the game up and running. This probably will not be a live stream, just a direct feed to record tournaments and good matches.
