Ex Phantom is not a good reversal. Meaty 2a, shield on reaction, derp derp.
Ex Bees is pretty good though but it's limited to F only.
H has nothing bar bunker.
Arc drive isn't really a reversal because you in disadvantage after it anyway.

5b is a good reversal for nero. At least against the people that hate him...

yeah his crescent moon reversal is absolutely trivial to bait/OS out of. It's really easy to do safe jump ins again. Bees is actually pretty good, it helps that you can block with baiting or shield because that gives him good advantage. Gotta totally read it and jump it.
Nero is tough for me to fight because he absolutely destroys my biggest bad habits in melty, the most significant of which is I like to airdash. If Nero jumps and doesn't airdash and you airdash, you pretty much lost right there. Also, F-Nero's corner setups are freaking good, even in console.

pppfttt nero is free now. He was UBER annoying in AC though. CLASHITY CLASHY CLASH CLAASSHHHH for hitting just about any normal in even the worst spots. But now that the "clash system" has been tweaked...freeee. 4C got nerfed (much easier to punish now, less range) and with the addition of sdj and air dodging it's much easier to get over his summons and aerial jc pursuits.
...Dashing nero is still kinda stupid imo.

zar are you even aware that your attitude is what drove people off in the first place. i think zar's attitude is worse than all of that. cause neither of you guys mean anything. but zar can poison shit around him. zar's the one that gets personal online and does realtalk that's out of line.

Q: Compare American and Japanese play styles, any impressions on the two?
A: Looking at American players compared to Japan, I noticed that Americans play really "politely." They don't really reversal and etc too much so in that respect, it was easier to fight them.

I only dislike him, or rather the people who play him, when I'm trying to get a new player into the game. For a new player picking it up for the first time getting mantis arm j.C allllll day is annoying enough. And it just makes them feel helpless when they start adding in deers and gators and crows. One of my friends plays nero and I love playing against him but I don't like having newer or potential melty players go against him. But he's picked up satsuki now.
And I'm kind of jealous a little of him, after you spend however long in practice mode hammering out your own combos you just watch nero go j.C j.C j.C and get decent damage. Gives me that moment of 'God I wish my combos were that difficult to drop!'

The real Nero combos are surprisingly difficult

Oh yeah I've seen some of them they're sick. But like for people who are just starting out, who are still struggling with combos, going up against another new player who just j.C->j.C->j.C all day to put damage out would seem... unfair. Who knows, that could just be me.

The real Nero combos are surprisingly difficult well thats true... Another coincidence is that there are many players who pick nero after a few rounds as a last resort, since i find him annoying for many of the things posted here for example: jc jc jc jc jc etc...
