So...how's that 360 pad working out for ya? From my experiences with it...I've found it to be quite the pain in the ass. I'm actually currently working on converting to stick full-time, since I had no choice but to go stick on 360 games due to that sad d-pad.

So far, I've found success on games that I've picked up and only played with stick (BlazBlue, TvC, SF4, you know, new games), but I can't knock that feeling in the back of my head while playing games like MBAC that the stick is some kind of a weakness for me atm.

my config, btw:
X=A
Y=B
B=C
A=D
LB=A+D
RB=A+B
RT=A+B+C

I actually play on a ps2 bad, but the layout is the same...

See previous pages and also edited first post.  Doing the dpad pringles mod really helps the responsiveness a TON and makes it a lot more playable.  Oh, I also forgot to mention... Monday I played with my Japanese friend again and whooped him with around a ratio of 10 wins to 1 loss (3 win matches).  ;D

Haha!  So I downloaded it and had some trouble getting it running.  For anyone else who's having difficulty, this is the key.  Go to "Control Pannel" -> "Regional and Language Options" -> "Advanced" and set the language to use for non-unicode programs to "Japanese" and then restart your computer.  Works like a charm!
Anyway, very nice sprites, decent game... not nearly as in depth as I think Melty Blood is but a decent little fighter nonetheless.

PS Sorry for the double-post. Also, how did this topic diverge like this so much!  :mystery:

This is the very basics of basics for playing Japanese games  :psyduck:

Yes, and I only found out about that now...  :slowpoke:  I'll have to go back and see if some of those Tohou games that "just wouldn't work" now do.  It's weird how they refuse to work at all under other modes.  :mystery:

Haha... nice thread necromancy!  Personally, I don't like mapping anything to the click-sticks on the xbox controller because it just feels awkward to use and they're not very accessible.
