When's Melty on Steam?
ahaha that's no--wait, what?
-
I'm a shade uncertain of what I'd like to shape the wiki to be, so I figured I'd ask for the input of the users (gasp!) So what did/do you expect when you load up the meltywiki? Wikified versions of the front page articles, maybe an advanced technique of the day? What kind of data are you looking for out of the character pages?
I've got a few ideas to add to the mix, but I like having a cohesive grip on all the ideas I can get. Feed me. :teach:

If possible startup and recovery frame counts for each move, damage, proration, and character defense ratings.
-
I know startups are on there, but damage, proration and character defense is a damn good call.

BNBs, in-depth analysis of each character's moves, abuseable strings (lol Hisui jBB).
-
maybe you can list each character's weight and their air-time when jumping or float time while being "juggled".
or something.
-
Maybe including images for character moves or even going as far as adding the hitboxes (ala JeffreyManson (http://dainojideneruinu.no.land.to/normal/normal.html))?
I know it is an immense amount of work but it would be a good resource to have in a wiki.

Once I get a good program that works on my laptop that'll record well. I'll actually do that with everyone's moves.
-
wait, waoh, how you show hitbox?
-
I'm doing a damage and proration database ((for school! X3 I get to play during class time~)). If you want, I can copy the information over to a non-retarded format. Gawd, I hate Access.

That would actually be freaking amazing.

Use SQL. Hell if the class tells you not to. :P I'll be very, very interested in your data when you have it gathered.

Just glancing at the wiki some things I think the Kohaku section should've noted. I realize they're using old version info so here's a little help.
5b is unairblockable. 1st hit of 5c is unairblockable (not sure about the rest but doubt it)
j.c has 70%r proration. (this is new but so is kohaku's 3rd lowest life ranking and the section noted that)
last hit of 5c is 60%r
last hit of 22c cactus is 60%r NOT 36% proration.
236a/b/c is super cancelable on block/whiff.
AD is comboable, will go through opponents that are in blockstun/have superarmor/ are invincible
AAD is comboable, will push against opponents that are in blockstun/have superarmor/ are invincible and will hit as soon as possible. If the condition lasts long enough Kohaku will eventually start attacking as if the AAD hit anyway. (See two Kohaku's AADing each other or Kohaku AADing a 22c'ed Kouma).
Both AD's when missed will cause kohaku to impact the wall putting her into a state where ANY attack will count as if she was hit in the air (as far as juggling goes, can't say for damage), even after she has hit the ground.
214a/c allow air actions afterwards.
Doesn't mention shield bunker at all, could say that it hits low which it doesn't look like.
Don't even get me started on the bio's that people started putting up for the characters like Akiha... :V

I noticed this last night -_-
-
Ah, whiffed Kohaku Arc Drives. The horror. :slowpoke:
-
The bios are my fault. I suck at them. I do apologize. Also, my taste in background colors is worse. If you guys can recommend anything, I'm open.
I'll add the info to Kohaku's section tonight.
