The other end of the cables go into the Easy Cap and the other one goes into the TV

Audio is really bad with Easy Cap, staticy and horrible, so get this too: http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-3-5mm-Stereo-Female-Cable/dp/B0018MI5F6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1274472591&sr=8-1 Plug in the audio cables that are meant for the Easycap into this and stick it into your mic port.

Then when you open up ULEAD studio (It should have come with the Easy Cap), go to the Capture Tab:

1. Press Capture Video
2. An bunch of drop down menus should appear
3. Choose MPEG (unless you have a lot of harddrive space then choose AVI)
4. Go to the little cogwheel option, choose the choice thats like [Audio and video source] (Sorry this is off the top of my head)
5. Go to the last tab, there should be a option for ADVANCED or PROPERTIES or something near the bottom of that window.
6. Choose MPEG 2 instead of MPEG 1 or the resolution gets wonky.
7. Save then close, then open up the little cogwheel option menu again for Audio and video
8. Go to the first tab which is called 'Source'
9. For Video source make sure its pointing to USB ATV
10. For Audio source make sure its pointing to Microphone and not Microphone USB 2.0 or something along those lines. That is because that is the audio for the EasyCap and the audio is horrible on the easy cap (thats why we buy the 3.5mm to RCA to mic cable).

Its just an example, you can use any type of RCA female to female splitter. That's just the one I got.

Pretty sure ehrik covered everything, since I'm a n00b when it comes to anything technical lol.  My T.V. has multiple A/V inputs, so there's no need for me to use a splitter.  Also, I am using an A/V cable that has A/V outputs on both ends of the cable, so I can record/play off my CRT.

If there's any video requests I'm willing to only do a couple since it's a lot of work for me sadly, as far as editing goes.

Edit: Wow, I feel totally awesome right now.  A player just told me that they want to pick up F Miyako because of this guide.  I never really thought I'd hear something like that, especially since I'm not some godlike player or whatever.  So basically I just wanted to say thanks for every bit of praise I've gotten on this.  It makes me tingle in my tingle-berries. (maybe homo?)

Guide finished, as far as I can think.  New things I added were:

-Section on meter use and philosophy behind saving vs spending

-Conclusion to wrap it up

What I should work on from here on out:

Well, I got my capture card working so I can probably post up some F-Miya stuff as well.

I may start working on a H-Miya thread like this. Just getting all my clips together.

Note: 22a has invulnerable frames on frame 1 and clash frames from frame 2-7, and 22b has clash frames from frame 3-12.  Because of 22b's long startup, using it to clash reversal doesn't work so well, but 22a works GREAT.  22a can potentially be used as a reversal, though it's risky and doesn't give much reward (low damage into knockdown).  Even better though, 22a can be used on reaction whenever you have a ground normal shielded.  You will guaranteed clash out their 5a/shield counter and free punish for knockdown.  It makes people rage, but more importantly, instills a fear of shielding in the opponent. 

Be careful about using 22A as a reversal. It doesn't have any low clash frames. It'll lose to 2A's every time or even if H-characters low shield you. Plus, like you said, the reward you get for the knockdown isn't worth the risk of the opponent 2A hit-confirming into a combo/loop on you.

I remember in the past trying to use 22A to stuff dash-ins, but I didn't have much luck. I always got 2A'd. Maybe that's just me though, so I will stick with ex-shield/heat/dodge/623 for reversals.

All Miyako players need to read through the new meter management section.  Bell helped open my eyes to some important things I wasn't really considering, so I added to almost everything I didn't outright scrap and rewrite.  Other updates and changes from my checklist above will be coming throughout the week.
