About NetPlay
« on: February 08, 2013, 08:27:03 PM »
I have played this game for a good while now, since Act Cadenza. I usually spar with a few of my buddies but I want to try my meddle against some other people.

I have already downloaded Melty Blood Current Code but I have no idea to make it go online. Is there a program I have to download or a patch or something? I know this might seem like common sense but I'm not the most computer savy person on Earth so I have trouble with stuff like this. Anyway thank you for your time.

Make sure the people you play against is around your area because the lag is horrible
Sometimes I like to hang out with people who aren't that bright. You know, just to see how the other half lives.

If you have steam, add my and I'll walk you through setting it up. I'm TheMaster_Rahl on steam.
I can't really give you good instructions here, as we can't support pirating the game.

Roy-Kr there is no need to be sarcastic. The game I downloaded had no option for Network Mode. This is why I'm asking.

To Master_Rahl.

Yes I have a Steam Account (DOTA baby lol) but if the lag is as bad as the others say then I'll just not bother. I was hoping to have some smooth gameplay against others but I guess I'll just content myself with playing with my friends on the PS2 Melty instead and travel if I want to play other people.

Thank you all for your time!

Cool deal.
Though I'd recommend that you play versus on the PC version if you play offline. PS2 to Current Code changes are pretty substantial. Char. balance is better. You get to use the new (old?) mechanics and combos.

Then could someone provide me a link to be able to actually BUY the game? And is the current ENG patch cover dialogue in arcade mode?

No, and no. This game isn't sold.
What he means is that this game was not sold by itself. It was sold with the limited edition version of Carnival Phantasm volume 3. So since it's limited edition, they only produced so many. You can't really find any brand new anymore. You have to find someone selling it on ebay or some other site, and prolly for a ridiculous price.
