MB netplay tourny?

Hey i was thinking about is there going to be a big MB netplay tourny soon?

that could be really sweet one big tourny if thats possible  :bleh:

Most players have retired from MBAC, and the remaining numbers aren't enough to project a good tournament. I'm afraid you're a little late in joining the MB community, because most players are just waiting for MBAA to be released in like 25 days. If you're looking for tournament play, your best bet is probably waiting for MBAA, then searching in your region for other players and meeting them for real time play.

As of now, no. People speculate that there's one Melty release per year, so I think PS2 MBAA is all we're getting until next year, which could mean a PC port then.

It's not an incredibly horrible idea.  GGPO's games emulate the arcade versions; Sega Naomi emulation works, from what I understand, and I belive MBAC is emulated (though why anyone would want to with the pc version available is beyond me).

If not GGPO (which I prefer over...) then there's always 2df freeplay (which has some less popular games anyway already).

i will host a tournament soon man dont worry   maybe in December ......i too just recently got into the game so dont feel bad man .....ive been w8in to hear sum bout a tourny for sum time now but it seems ill have to take the first step so be paitien.  ;D

If there's going to be a netplay tourny anytime ever I'd certainly be interested. Hell, if anybody wants to netplay period just shoot me a message. Only got into Melty Blood with the release of Actress Again, but I've gone back now and played the others. I'm good enough to whoop up on the CPU, but I certainly need to start playing human opponents, even if it's over netplay.
