How to you configure a Logitech wireless joypad to Netplay?
in the config_caster.ini file if you want to use analog stick or Xpadder if you want to use dpad
"I-P-C-O-N...'
"M?"
"No, N as in.."
"Oh, N, as in knife" "...yes..."

um no, you only goto the config_caster.ini file if you want to change it so it works on keyboard or if it works on joypads

anyways just open up the game normally, and there will be pad1 button in pad config

config your joypad there.

If you cant move during netplay thats when you break out the Xpadder, change the config to keyboard, and map all the buttons on your joypad to a key on the keyboard

Just had my first experience with this.  Played a game through the relay that was too laggy, but on a direct connection it was perfect!!!   Show me where to dump the money for future versions plz ;)

Ok me and my friend keep getting the error timeout (away) or whatever, where the game will start up and go to VS and then sit there and close after a second. I've been able to play with someone else fine, so any idea what causes this problem / how to fix it?

Sorry for the huge chain of questions, but, am I doing it wrong? Is everything in the right place? Is there supposed to be some kind of indication when the program is running correctly? I just open MBcaster.exe, then open mbacPC.exe, right?

Edit: Thanks, I actually thought the Readme file that was in that folder was the japanese Readme for some reason. Thanks for the help irregardless, I got it working.

Move all the stuff in the exe folder to the main folder.

Problem solved.

I'm running win XP with the MB and MBcaster updated, but for some reason whenever I netplay, It goes uptill the character select screen fine then the game just dissapears and MBcaster goes back to the main menu.
I tried disabling the double keys, unlocked neco arc, tried reinstalling, hosting or joining another game, but the exact same thing happens everytime. Does anyone have an idea, or have a similar problem?

I was trying this for the first time today and we ran into some problems. I believe it may have originated on my end. When ever we tried to connect to each other nothing would happen. I am not very good with networking things so I really have no idea what might be the problem. When he would try to connect to me his would say targeting then stop. When I try to connect to him it just goes straight back to the menu. Now when I tested my port it said that UDP 7500 recieved no signal. So I went to my control panel and added that port to the firewall. It still says the same thing. Any suggestions?

If you have a router, you're gonna have to open the port on it too.

However Hamachi prevents the need for all this if you're lazy.

So, (correct me if I am wrong), if you connect to a hamachi server, then all of the people within the server can access without setting their router up to accept the port (because they are all on the same server)? The only thing hamachi does is this one thing? Or is there more to it that I am missing.

Yeah. Basically, that's all Hamachi's used for in mbcaster.

Because Hamachi kinda sets up a fake LAN. Over the internet.

Which can be useful.

Sorry for bumping this old thread if it's dead, but I've recently downloaded MBAC, and 1.03, but it refuses to work. (I also have Vista)

Thanks for any help ahead of time, I hope I can get this to work so I can play some people over Hamachi!

IIRC there's some Vista variable in the config_caster.ini... try switching to "1" or on.. or whatever it is

i'm using dualshock2 with some usb converter. included drivers are no better than simple winxp driver and do not have profiler.
can't use pad movement buttons in netplay(it's ok with the single play), only analog stick.

UPD: i have just tested mbcaster with some usb gamepad and direction buttons won't work as well.

WHOOPS. Fixed with Xpadder =)
