Basically, the situation is -

Both of us can play against other people with mbcaster mauve. However many people we host or connect to, for some reason my friend is the only person that I cannot battle all of a sudden using hosting OR connect.

This is recent by the way. This didn't use to happen.

I also have a similar problem. I can host and join other people just fine. Me and my friend could join each others games as well. But recently my friend changed ISP from Bell to Rogers. I am also on Rogers. Now neither of us can join each others game, but we can still play with other people just fine.

EDIT: the reason we can't play is because there will be huge lag. It seems to come in spikes. However the recommended delay is usually around 2.
