Questions about netplaying a friend
« on: October 01, 2007, 06:22:43 PM »
Howdy guys, im not a big regular of this site but I know a bit about it.  Me and my buddy from back home are hyped that now we can play against each other again, but we are not sure how.  If anyone can explain the netplay process it would be greatly appreciated.  I downloaded the caster, updated the files, and it seems that the caster works, since the character sceen went up.  How am I supposed to connect with his or other peoples melty blood games so I can have net play?

1. Host tells his cilent his IP address. Have both parties fire up Caster (assuming both sides have set it up properly).
2. Host selects wait for access (1).
3. Client (joiner) selects 2 and enters host's IP.
4. With some luck, the connection will be established and both of you will be taken to the Versus character select screen.
5. Beat the shit out of each other.  :teach:

In case you're wondering, Netplay is currently only compatible with Versus.
