Want a fun stealth game? Take on hard mode for your maiden play-through. My expectations were high and I was not disappointed.

Was planning on getting it once it went on sale, seems like the game plays the way i TRY to play whenever i play an elder scrolls game these days.

Yeah, basically. I played skyrim stealth and laughed at how retarded good it was. I play this stealth and it gets pretty high anxiety. On the harder difficulties, if you get discovered, you're toast. Replay value would be pretty high if it didn't make the game crazy easier knowing what to expect around each corner. Playing for high chaos on hardest difficulty right now. I die in 1-2 hits from anything, but with lethal options at my disposal and the knowledge of enemy placement from first play...it's not very challenging.
As a side note, I really like that they allow you to toggle basically all of the UI elements on/off in the options. Playing through the first playthrough just without objective markers makes exploration and paying attention to notes ridiculously important. It's a lot of fun.

Just finished my KILL EVERYTHING playthrough. Was faster and more entertaining than the pacifist approach. Good game, nothing to complain about if you don't mind predictable plots.
Dark Messiah is still better though :V

Nothing has so far been more satisfying to me than rewiring a wall of light and laying a body down just outside of it. WE'VE GOT SOMEONE DOW-zzzp > repeat forever
Also it's nice to actually be able to just get rid of tallboys instead of having to hide from them forever.

Well, as of now I haven't heard of any modding, but I'm not sure if it will be made possible in the future or not.

For me it was really satisfying to play stealth a pacifist, the game is not only to be an assasin but to see the charge of killing in your conscience, and because of the Chaos :V
If you want that the little girl don't grow in a reign full of mother#$%&ers, you better play pacifist, and obviously, it's the harder way to play, because it doesn't matter what difficulty you choose, if you're spotted, the entire world will be behind you.

Thing with that is that you basically ignore half the skills and weapons you have.

Yeah, it's pretty fucking limiting. I had more fun playing high chaos just using everything at my disposal to wreck bitches, but I would still do pacifist first if given another chance. GOTTA DO IT FOR THE LOLI, MAN! She deserves the best possible end.
