The cinematics have been good but the gameplay looks terrible. Its still early in development so maybe they can still put out something decent, I just won't be expecting much.

The cinematics have been good but the gameplay looks terrible. Its still early in development so maybe they can still put out something decent, I just won't be expecting much.
Of what I what of the game-play mechanics, I am not sure yet. That said, everything at this point is in flux... what was seen is still being developed. I highly doubt that they want this as an endpoint.

The sad thing is this mugen sf4 looks more fun than standard sf4.

If it played like Tekken, with SF4 chars mixed in, id be happy. But sadly its the other way around...

The second that Capcom's part in the Cross games was based on SF4, I saw that happening.
If it played like Tekken, with SF4 chars mixed in, id be happy. But sadly its the other way around...
That game is called Tekken X Street Fighter, expect it later next year or for 2013. You're in for a longer wait if that is the game you are waiting on.

Srsly? Good. I can't wait to just SIDESTEP shoryukens.
Idk if its me, but the pacing looks faster than SF4 to me...but that might be because of assists.
I also didn't see dizziness (yet) and im hoping i dont.
Might be buyable, we'll see.

Well, we'll see if that is the case. But even for me, that is the more interesting game, the Tekken characters would be fine... but for the Street Fighters, SNK this isn't. You are talking about a system that is complete alien for the conventions of SF as a whole, it's not just sidestepping fireballs (which has been done before in the EX series), it's the simple fact that Hadoken simply will not be QCF+P... for Tekken, that simply does not exist (as far as I understand Tekken, which is not much).
Which makes things interesting, since characters like Ryu, Ken, etc. would have to be overhauled completely for the Tekken system of combat. I would like to see how that turns out...

Quarter circles, DPs, half circles all exist in Tekken. Tekken x Street Fighter is also going to be made by Namco so there's not going to really be anything to overcome as far as the 3D system.
SRKs will just be uf4s without leading to 50%+ combos lol

I'm still confused that Ryu knows any other words than Hadouken, Shoryuken etc. I was so confused when he began to talk in the trailer.

It confused me too. I never knew he was capable of anything other than the usual stuff.
