Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I thought I'd make a thread just for general discussion of Powerd Ciel not specific to any of the moon styles. Thoughts, opinions, rumours, questions, whatever. I guess I'll start out by asking what's Melty Bread's opinions of her so far (is Powerd Ciel going to be the next Ciel? :laffo:). Who knows, but I do have one question - is Powerd Ciel going to be on the PC release as well as the other characters specific to AA?

Best damage + best oki + best overhead + best zoning (it gives you combos lol) + priority + range + you can capitalize out of lots of thing x.x. I think she is way more then Ciel was in MBAC x.x.

Out of curiosity what's japan's current stance on how ban-worthy PCiel is in general if anyone knows? She's been steamrolling mikado tourney matches pretty thoroughly without much real effort(seriously, japanese matches where a character is literally using only one move for spans of ten or more seconds straight is painfully depressing to watch), and the last mikado tourney on the 26th had a team of two pciel players blaze straight through their matches with no really apparent close calls toward losing, but still no sign of her being soft or hard banned yet?
Admittedly she's not archetype earth 100%-combos-and-free-infinites-with-instakill-arc-drive broken, but this is practically GG kliff/justice or blazblue unlimited character levels of onesidedness here.
Does the japanese tourney scene just feel she's a character who everyone is too ignorant of matchup experience to deal with in spite of this?(ironic coming from me I know but still, if NAC was consistently winning tourneys through scrubbery and gimmicks and was heavily played like PCiel I'd support banning him too)
Since we'll be playing 1.07 rebalancing might already be in place to bring her in line, but this is still something to worry about until we see a changelog for the PC port and 1.07.

To be honest,I don't think PCiel is all that.I think C-Kohaku played at 100%(shes very exec heavy)is a stronger character than any PCiel moon.But that's just me.

What I don't like about PCiel is that she kinda cheapens regular Ciel. Way back in MBAC Ciel's Arc Drive was one of the cooler looking ones. Now who would play regular Ciel over Powerd Ciel?
EDIT: Not to mention, from what I've seen, she's been ass-kicking her way through every game she's been in.

Well, it's already confirmed she's been nerfed to some degree in the hydraGP loketest. How much is the major question.

The dp spike follow up is techable now. Still looks good otherwise.

h-pciel looks about the same.. f-pciel either had her rock toss pressure nerfed or people know better ways out of it now. Does the rock not travel as far horizontally?
I don't think I've seen a single c-pciel match, wtf happened to her? lol

I heard that C-PCiel's got nerfed alot.
ex) opponent doesn't get hit by the laser if it's close to the character. some loops are no longer available. damage got nerfed.
ps) Do not fully trust this info. I said, I just heard it! lol

Finally some c-pciel footage! The Gamesky stream on Tuesday (doesn't look like it was archived unless it's on niconico) showed her off a bunch and she looks very much intact. Damage is probably toned down slightly and there might be some other minor nerfs, but overall she looked very playable, not nerfed into oblivion like I was worried had happened.

As far as I see, C-PCiel is still capable of doing an 5.4k combo (on sion) from a CH jC starter.
Her charged lazer isn't that Godlike than in ver 1.05, but still annoying. There's only a few vids about her, so I assume she lost popularity.
Is anybody know what kind of (specific) nerfs she got?
