I'd say knowing how to poke and how to approach the match when the momentum is neutral and you're dancing around the screen (footsies) is immediately more important than blockstrings. Keeping pressure through blockstrings is always nice, but at beginning levels of play, knowing how to shift momentum into your favor from a neutral position is much more useful.

Can you or anyone expand on that info? Currently my biggest hurdle aside from TK j.2C is footsies and movement. I remember my very first match I played I had no idea how to move. So I couldn't approach my enemy for crap. I ended up getting zoned out way too easy by the Wara player I faced.

I've owned MB for a few years now(PS2) but I never really got inot it until I really started trying to learn the game 3 days ago.

I'm learning Nero and either Ciel or Kouma.  They aren't any damn MB players around here so I play online.

I'm a new Nero player and I have trouble dealing with throws in the corner/in general. Usually they'll just run up and grab me. I'll ty 2A but it doesn't work. If there's a gap I try j.A but I have no idea how safe/reliable that is.

Another thing is if people are jumping above Nero trying ot mix him up, what are his options? Just hope that you block correctly?

Pretty much the same thing as above.  I didn't purchase MBAC. I "acquired" it through someone else. When I try to mount the image on Daemon tools, Daemon doesn't find anything to mount.

EDIT: Nvm. Seems it randomly fixed itself.
