I've been playing Actress Again on the PS2 and while the PS@ controller is useable I feel it would probably be better to play on an arcade stick. I was thinking of http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002B81RH4 but I'm not too sure so any suggestions would be nice.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting some competitive videos of the PS2 port. All I've been able to find are combo videos. Too bad I'm too far away from any competitive players.

How's the D-Pad on the saturn pad? The D-Pad on normal Ps2 controllers hurt my thumbs a bit so I had to dig out my old third party one to actually play well.

In reference to the tier list on the first post, is C-Nanaya still consiered the best of the three? From the videos I've seen F-Nanaya seems to be the most consistent or perhaps I'm just not watching the right videos?

I have windows vista and caster works just fine for me so running vista definetely isn't your problem. Can you access the debug screen by pressing 9 in caster? If so it could be a firewall/port/router issue and if not it could be as simple as changing your config_caster so it has the appropriate input device number (inputdevice=0 for a pad and inputdevice=255 for a keyboard).
