I responded to your PM joftwin. There might be a gathering this week...

Do you guys think we should like setup some kind of chatroom (IRC, skype chat, FB group) or something for us to discuss things and maybe get organized for FR, or even just like netplay w/each other since there probably shouldn't be much lag in-state?? Just an idea.

So I managed to get a MBAA setup but the only problem is I don't have any PS2 sticks. I'm at the GA tech friday casuals pretty much every week so I'll have a set up there if anyone is coming to that.

Oh for real? Are you going to be there this Friday as well? If so, I'm definitely gonna show up.

yeah, if svx was in Atlanta we probably would have met up by now. I've known him for a few years but we never get to play MBAA. BUT...next Final Round we shall hopefully.

Uhh my friend told me to post on here since he got me into playing Melty Blood recently.... XD Well I live in Georgia and um I... suck at the game I guess? I haven't actually played against anyone yet except the coms... stupid Ciel. <_< My main character is currently Ries but I am still trying out new characters, the next one I am going to try is Warachia. Uhhh I guess thats all I have to say?... XD

Yeah, basically. I do, but it's back home in Cali, lol. If I ever practice it its on emulator. One of my friends up in Marietta has a setup so I get to play it whenever I chill with him. He came down once to one of the gatech casuals when dumba was around.

Looking through the thread, it seems Feez goes to ga tech too. I'd definitely like to meet up and play sometimes.

Gatech holds friday casuals every week, so that could be a good opportunity. The thing is that I don't really have a MBAA setup...dumba had one, but he isn't around anymore obviously.

Is anyone at AWA? I'll be there today (Saturday), and if they have a melty setup then I'll probably be on it for a while. For some reason I have this feeling that they won't...we'll see.

Ooookay, haven't posted here in a while. So, I'm in Cali for a bit until the semester starts back up again (aug 22). I don't want my already rusty MB skills to get even rustier, so Viet, dogy, whoever...would you guys be up for some weekly/bi-monthly casuals? At Gatech? Or anywhere, really, as long as I can get a ride...

In any case they had MB last year and the year before as well, but it's not like there was any real competition unfortunately. I'll most likely be there though!

no one shows up for mbaa at the GT casuals, but when dumba was around it was just me and him.

Next autumn...I might still be around, but I'll be graduating around that time hopefully. Well if you and your friend will be around or are around and want to ever hit up the weekly casuals let me know so we can get some melty in.

just to note, the casuals are open to everyone and isn't restricted to only gatech students

Oh wow a Japanese MB player? that sounds awesome! Every Friday (usually) we have fighting game casuals at Georgia Tech. If you are on SRK (shoryuken.com) contact funkyp for details on where the casuals are held. We should get in contact with each other, send me a PM or something. I'm pretty much the only MB player left in Atlanta unfortunately :'( and I haven't been playing much lately...but if you're around it might give me some motivation.

Solidplay we got to set some things up...I can't say for sure but I think by the # of people playing this game here I might be the best player in the state (along with svx probably), lol. It's all Tekken, SF, Blazblue, and Marvel here and sometimes people will mess around with other games but no one really wants to take it seriously.

svx, are you around this summer? I'm still here for summer courses/research so make it out to ATL some time!!
