So, 1.06 will be released at the end of this month and 1.07 in October?

Hmmm... Most game centers I've been going to lately all have 1.05. Does anyone know if most game centers in Japan got 1.05 right away or was there a bit of a wait in some places? I hope places close to me get 1.06 right after release. I'll be travelling to Tokyo every weekend if not.

Yeah! I'm looking for people to play. Honestly, my Japanese is pretty bad so I haven't really met any local players. heh (^_^;)

I live in Ota, Gunma-ken. (群馬県太田市)

It's a little ways from Tokyo, but only a little more than 2 hours by local train. I like to go to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Akihabara on the weekends. Not so much lately 'cause the weather ain't so nice, it bein' the rainy season.

I'm gonna be busy with work this weekend, but the weekend after or after that, I'm definitely going to Tokyo. Anyone want to play?

The tournament rules on the MBAA page for EVO 2010 are still TBA.

http://evo2k.com/?p=22

My friends and I have been discussing which game setting will be the standard for this tournament--original (console) or arcade.

Since the game will definitely be played on console, I would assume the original version will be used; however, I've heard rumors that many Japanese players will be competing in this tournament and arcade settings may be used to satisfy these players.

Does anyone know which version will be used at EVO this year?

Including myself, there are probably many more players who are barely learning this game in a mad dash to develop their skills before July.  Perhaps, the differences between the two versions are not significant enough to derail all the hard work put in before the rules are officially announced.  Still, confidence and peace of mind would be very helpful.

Thank you.
