Black Lagoon was unique. The scenario is original and refreshing aside the most genre typical animes. The OST is stylish, the animation genius and hell, Revy <3

Takes place much later in the timeline, ported from mac to pc in 95 I think.THe Halo Series was good for about the first 12 years no wit is getting kinda old.12? Halo 1 hasn't been out for a whole 6 yet.
Although I must say that Halo Wars looks good (that is if it comes out for PC)(which it should)
Fun Fact: All Bungie games are related to the halo story line except the Myth series. Makes we want to play Oni to find the references.

Trust me, if you're in Blood Heat, there are pretty much of other stuff you can do to your enemy, since the 623C has a shield in the first frame, though only use at the end of the bar and if you punished him with your BnB and 236C.
Nanayas AD is quite good for avoiding deadly Blood rings and might hit if you're lucky enough.
I once had a dream where Nanayas AD hit overhead. Hell yeah. Because many guys crouchblock this attack, of no reason XD

Some of you know. I just want to ask if there are more guys interested in this game, it's a good alternative to MBAC, though in my opinion it can't beat MB if it comes to gameplay. I know there are freaky guys who spend their time with trying out combos and stuff and this is a thread for showing those. Or discussing combos.
It would be nice to find a norm for combo definitions. Some people say L, M, H instead of A,B,C and such stuff. I would prefer the ABC thing. Also, D is the Cancel Button.
Okay.
My primary char in BBB is Ren. He has a kendo and throws coke and he is able to hit the coke with his kendo so it will fly towards the opponent. If the opponent is in the corner, the coke hits twice and you are able to smash the coke a maximum of 6 times. Though, if you do, you can't combo out of this. So 5 hits are ideal. Then you follow with a 214B, 623C. Repeat this one. Then you can Superjump and ABC, then land, 2A, ABC, 623B, D, ABC, 214B, 623C, Superjump, ABC.
I did it once, it's possible and it does more than 6k damage. Though Ren is a low-tier, he is pretty impressive.
The coke thing only works if you got the right distance from your enemy. In the dojo stage, you should stand directly in front of the stipe. In the school stage on the top of the school, you should stand right on the fissile which is straight vertical. If you're too close, you can't hit the coke that many times and if you're too far away, the coke will fly too low and finally land in front of the opponent.
Maybe someone is crazy enough to do this combo after the coke wars.

Sounds amazing, difficult, entertaining and amaz... wait. I said that before. Unfortunately, my fighting skills suck hell and I was only able to beat Sp00ky once in my lifetime.
But I will register later because if there are more guys the winner will get more money. I would give a damn for 20$, especially fighting my innards out for the duration of this tournament. XD

« on: January 02, 2008, 05:59:51 AM »What I could say though is regarding the kind of genre the music would go well with, since you're mentioning that it would be the soundtrack for a game. It seems to have some kind of Lord of the Rings feel to it (I dunno, I felt some of the movie's OST influence on it), so it would go quite well with either a fantasy-themed game, or if you want to stretch it a bit, a medieval game. Heck, I could see this being played maybe on a WWII game. Any game that has that "one manly man/group of manly men against millions of odds is serious business" kind of thing going on would have this music in it.A genre mix between shooter, fantasy (swords, magic etc) and beat'em'up. You can switch between styles instantly (if you learned and mastered them; guns, blades and martial arts, something for everyone). It's in 2D, classical RPG view, but not static, you can move 360°, jump, crouch, run, roll and the usual suspects. The track here is for later appearance, in the fantasy world. I am currently trying some dark science blah music to train for the future parts. And I must improve the one above. And I have to finish the game. This WON'T happen THIS year, I tell you XD
Now if you're going for something else like a fast-paced 2D fighting game, a survival horror FPS, or a side-scrolling shooter that's got rocket lawnchairs in it with the intent to create some laughs, you're probably doing something wrong here.

Fuck yeah. I will try this, lhitmanl. It's surprising every time if you talk about music with a normal human or with someone who had piano lessons more than 3 or 4 years. You feel like talking to a composer or something.
