GGS to Tare and Sp00ky.

Sp00ky: Awesome mixups are awesome. Awesome matches are awesome. I hope to upgrade my Wara while playing you so I can give you equal pressure :p

Tare: Man I just can't get through your arc. Your pressure is awesome, it had be guessing twice about overhead blocks and low blocks. Good use of Arc's move properties too ie, 22c air unblockable. Great baras too

ggs guy

You might wanna mention the new chan in the MBAC chan.

I did :p

1303
IRC for tourney is: irc.pyoko.org #TSMT

I added bracket onto main post. GO CLICK ON REAL MAIN BRACKET NOT MAIN BRACKET. The Main bracket one was a mess up.

1305
PC1x1 I am adding you into new bracket because I didn't have enough people to get an even finals

If you have a keyboard with everything disabled except your character's controls then you can use it.  Keep in mind you might need to switch between player 1 and player 2 side.  For casuals I don't care.

And DDR pads are allowed if there is enough room.

Enforcing the use of pelican ps2 converters(provided by tournament organizer) is something I've considered, but I'd rather not go that way unless its necessary.

Keyboard >>>>> pad > stick btw.

Holy fuck at the turnout of people lol (38 total people, possibly 39). Either we're going to have to do a massive tourney at once or we can split the tourney (Remove loser's bracket completely) and have a grand finals between the winners of bracket A or B.

Okay as for dates also, we can either have it on the first week of november, where everyone is most likely free (I don't know of any tournaments then), or we can hold it next week over a 7 day period. Many problems can arise from option two, but I want your guys opinions.

Updated...and sorry about the forms guys, it just gives me a rough idea of how many people will play, and it gives me a chance to organize brackets and stuffz.

EDIT:

This isn't an entry, but I'm willing to help you. (If I'm available)

I refuse to enter online tourneys.

I think you can help me with a lot of things. I'll just need to get organized first

...Sounds intresting...

Quote
Date: To be updated. Approx. 2-3 weeks from now, on a weekend.

Just to let you know, there are going to be a few tourneys running around this time. (I'm aware of two on 9/22 and WT7 on 9/29)

We can probably work around that. I'll probably have a final date by next week or so.

~NETPLAY TOURNEY~

Okay I'll be hosting a netplay tourney for MBAC VERB2 for the PC. The netplay program being used will be MBCaster

Prize: $20 Provided by Syn_Sid

NOTICE, IN ORDER TO GET MONEY YOU MAY NEED PAY PAL

Number of Max Players: Variable (Depends on how many are interested)

Number of Rounds/Matches: 3 matches (first to 2)

Restrictions: No character restrictions

Date: Get your matches finished as soon as you can. Finals will be held all at once in the IRC channel

Version of MB: Most updated at the time, unless MBcaster is incompatible with newer versions.

Brackets: Winners, Losers + Grand Finals

Okay here are the rules:

1. Don't show up, you're automatically disqualified.

2. Save replays so we can post videos or it can be used as proof if needed. (Not really necessary due to spectate function)

Send me your replays through PM or IRC

In this Format: YourName vs OtherPerson'sName_# (Number is what number match it was) Ie: If it was your second match, the replay's name would end with _2. Make all 2-3 match replays into one RAR titled: YourName Vs OtherPerson'sName

Example:

3. You can only change characters after losing a match. If you win, you must stick with the same character.

4. If you do not contact your versus partner to set up a match date at all, or if you are absent for several weeks, I will disqualify you.

I will be hosting the tournament on a temporary channel on either efnet or pyoko. I will update with channel info and such.

CLICK ON REAL MAIN BRACKET FOR THE MAIN BRACKET

Notes:

The program I was previously using wasn't very good at all. I don't reccomend ever using it. Lol

Basically I recreated the bracket using a better program. I got a few minor issues, but I think its all right now. Gilliam and Choco matches are the only ones that switched oddly. Multi is in losers bracket because his partner could not play him. However, before I could add Multi in to fight Gilliam, Gilliam and Qae thought they were DQ'd permanently and fought. Qae won and Multi didn't mind so I just pushed Multi into Losers. D:

This is how its going to work with the 3 semi finalists of Both losers and winners bracket.

They will fight a round robin. If they tie, then the winner will be chosen by rounds. The person who scores 2nd place in the round robin for Winners Bracket will fight the winner of the Round Robin in Loser's Bracket for Losers Bracket Winner.

THEN the Losers Bracket winner will fight the Winners Bracket Winner. If its confusing, just ask me and I'll try to rephrase it >_>

(Thanks a bunch to Sibladeko for this suggestion D:)

I SCREWED UP BAD AT THE START LOLOL

Hopefully the battles will go more smoothly now. (Besides the odd Round Robin).

Just tried hosting and connecting, both result in the same problem.

Are you patched 1.03? 1.03a gives problems with current version of netplay

Why 9? You should be either inputting 1 or 2 or at worst 6

Following what the readme said.

Then you should disregard read me :p

Uh, if you want to host Press 1. Then have your opponent connect to your ip with 2.

Am I doing something wrong? I followed the directions exactly, but when I input 9, mbac shows up in the taskbar, then disappears and mbcaster hops back to the menu. No error messages or anything.

Why 9? You should be either inputting 1 or 2 or at worst 6

Tried it today, and works great ^^. But I think I found a bug. I picked Neco Chaos, and after the loading my game froze  >:(. I later found out that the person I was playing with had not unlocked him.

It's quite minor, as I doubt many people play Neco Chaos, but still a bug nonetheless and should be fixed.

Just tell your friend to beat Arcade mode once lol

GG Ehrik, allways fun playing you and sorry for the lagg.

Mailorder, GG and thanks for playing with me and putting up with such horrible lagg.

GG :)

Good games the random guy who fought me. Your hisui was very fun to play as well as your vakiha. The other characters I assume were just for fun :v

Good games Ruko. You were the only person who evenly matched me the entire day. So it was really fun. I don't mind too much about the lag, but we should meet up some time.

GG Pfhor, but you probably won't read this lol

GG Sima Matty, you need to get that arc up to speed :> You must defeat my waras. Don't use 4b during blockstring >_<
