Beh. Day off friday. FFA too far. Don't wanna drive far. I'll most likely not go today.

Also...
1: @Ehrik: What is the possibility of invading your place to play games?

2: Xie's "Level Up" tournie is taking place Feb 28 on a Saturday. I'm considering in bringing on my lappy there, maybe. It has Melty.  I should check if it is ok.

Couple things.

1. West Toast XVI has been added to the top under events.  Even better is it is at Super Arcade, which is across the street from Mt SAC. It's nice to have something local to me for a change.

2. @Jinxhand - Mind if I plug the Comic Odyssey in the top post? Also how often do ya set up for matches there?  I can prolly stop by when I am actually down there to visit family in San Diego.
On a slightly related note, There is a Comic Odyssey that is walking distance from my work in Pasadena. 2nd store perhaps?

I think CDJapan.co.jp is an option too. Look for Carnival Phantasm, Season 3. MBAACC is the extra that comes with it.

2 Things:

1: It's friday. Gonna loiter at FFA tonight. Weeeee.

2: I'm talking to ID about the next West Toast. From what I'm told, It will prolly take place at Super Arcade the week before Anime Expo. Was wondering if Saturday or Sunday would be better for games like MB and AH3.  What would you guys perfer?

As a general note, I'd keep the combos below or near 30 hits, unless I want even more meter or the opponent is in Heat. Up the combo counter meter more, you start feeding the opponent tons of meter.

If you are wondering, the ladle combo gives em about 45% meter. Ladle combos really add up the combo counter quickly.

Kohaku's Magical Garage / Re: Question from a two-year noob.

Here is what i think.

1: Stop Trying to hit em.
2: Block.
3: Watch your opponent.
4: Attack when they mess up.
5: Keep attacking them
6: Stop attacking when you mess up.
7: Repeat 1-6

Other things
a: Stop making mistakes
b: Refine your pressure
c: Keep em blocking
d: Know when you mess up

That's all that pops in my mind right now.

I'm in the process of turning my MBAC Hisui into the proper AA standards, so my first step was learning those sexy yayaya combos but I've ran into a problem...

See, I can do the 2abc6c version just fine, but when I do the BE5c j.A j.BB 236a combo the rejump portion gets a lot harder to do, and even when I get it right I can never end it on 623a because the dust ends up behind my enemy and won't hit him for some reason (I can do the 236a236a ender fine tho).

Any input would be nice, especially on the dust thing, since I can't seem to get it to work no matter what.

Here is my previous post on the combo.
(anything before a 2c)... >2C> 5C or 6C > Jump > jC > airdash > jBB > j236B > land > jump >jAB jAC > Airdash > jBB > 236B > land > 623A or 236A236A

Couple of notes
0: Works when you are near/at the corner.
1: The yayaya combo works best when you delay the 2nd B of the jBB
2: Alternatively, You can Reverse Beat the jBB instead of Airdash
3: 623A ender has to be done the moment you land the j236B. (I recommend double tapping the A).
4: Standard follow up of the 623A ender is the 22A Bento... You can also be creative like you would any other 623A ender
5: Standard follow up after a 236A236A ender is an EX cancel to her 22C (EX bento). If you chose to do something else, note that the opponent gets up fairly quickly.

Edit: Damnit ><. Thanks for the correction, Mintz.

Also... when do you "BE5c j.A j.BB 236a"? To me, it only makes sense to do this after 6b launcher, and rejumping after a 236A is pretty strict.

WanteD, Elec, Bellreisa:  I added ya to the top. Beware.

Gonna do my Friday ffa thing again.

Also... for non ffa things, just plan it and I'll see if I can hang.  I only do the Friday thing to avoid Friday traffix... even if it is an additional 50 miles driven... :x.... but at least it's driving fast and not sitting an hour in traffic... go sanity. !!

Hmm... I can make this.

Hey everyone. At the risk of sounding too cheezy,   This is by far one of the best times I ever had.

From the team tournament to the Steak & Shake convoy, Singles tourney to the invasion of my room, and all the matches I played, this is definitely an experience to be remembered. .This is my first willing trip to the EC & my first time away from the WC.   I regretted not hanging with you guys during Evo2010 so I hope this more than makes up for it.  If NEC is going to be something similar, I am definitely looking forward to it.

Individual shout outs (Sorry if I miss some people)
Bellreisa: You so troll. Go WC!
Rayza: Runback... Success...
Brandino: You were so drunk...  Such a hilarious night.
Garu: I need to be more relentless against you.... Thanks for the games.. at 7:00a Monday!
Lord Knight: Thanks for beating my Hisui. She needed it.
Chelsea: I Rove you too.. ;D
Tonberry: You got me... :<
Voomer & DivineArc:  Mall car search.
Komidol: Glad we had our waifu battle.  http://youtu.be/gGy11HTiQjI
GenericSuperhero: Fear my relentless assault!
SilentShinobi: Good shit running the tourney!  Also, thanks for being awsome.
DJCream: Lilith frame traps.
Everyone who invaded in my room: Good god.... 7:00A on monday? Really?

Now that the event is over and life continues, I like to think that I did well in my matches, tournament or otherwise. My Hisui has a lot more room for improvement, and playing you all, I realize my mistakes and shortcomings even more now.  When I play all you guys again, I hope to become a much stronger opponent.
