Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: Melty Blood: Actress Again

by the way, in your opinion is MBAA more or less fun than MBAC

all these changes are dramatic, but it questions whether its for the better or worse(i really don't like the fact they moved the max to 200%, sounds like they just did that to make circuit spark more available faster)

edit: whoops max 200% just for half moon, lol who's gonna play half-moon

blood heat at 200% uhh me, Ill play at half moon.

But unfortunately:

Quote
Half Moon: [22:43] <nonotan> max bar is 200%, heat at 200% (with charge like full moon), if you get hit in heat IT DOES CIRCUIT SPARK AUTOMATICALLY, no blood heat, only ex shields, if your ex shield is successful you counterattack automatically (both on the ground and in the air), you can't ex guard? dunno wtf that even means

Wallachia (Warakia) / Warakia Actress Again changes
« on: July 07, 2008, 09:35:34 AM »
Quoted from the Actress Again topic:

Quote
[23:21] <nonotan> in crescent moon warakia loses his nails in 5a and 2a
warakia now has an aerial 236
nonotan: apparently it can be used like akiha's tk 236
nonotan: AERIAL SUMMONS

Seems like Wara is going to get some interesting aerial control.

Kohaku's Magical Garage / Re: EX cancel
« on: July 03, 2008, 07:20:09 PM »
I saw term this in a guide for Akiha, something about "EX cancelling" her EX 623C for some a throw set up. This was on the Akiha strategy board.

I think you're talking about 623b, not 623c. Just guessing that the throw setup you're thinking about is the arc drive one (since Akiha doesn't have other command throws AFAIK). What this means is, that you can, before 623b hits anything (we do note want them in hitstun when going for a throw) you input the arcdrive command (41236c) which then will cancel the 623b and do arcdrive instead. This is most likely rather hard, so can take some training :teach:

I'd rather just do the arc drive as a tick throw instead since I'm too lazy to practice :psyduck:

Bloody--

Oh well, it'll work out somehow. Do someone have the exact lenght of every song for reference then? (If you do not, don't bother making it, I can always do it myself)

Tried to make my own soundtrack yesterday, but the song doesn't play to end before it loops. How on earth do I fix this?

Akiha Tohno / TK j.236a crossover okizeme
« on: July 01, 2008, 07:20:07 PM »
I do not play Akiha, nor play high level Melty, but while messing around in training mode with Akiha, I found out this little trick.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=jEWzopNmF14 (First time doesn't crossover, which I for some reason didn't notice while editing :psyduck:)

I haven't seen this noticed anywhere (because I haven't looked :slowpoke:) nor do I know if this is actually useful in an actual match.

Once again, your capabilities to tell such amounts of crap amaze me. I have YET to find a SINGLE fighting game that I haven't found ALL I need to know in GameFAQs. The community, I'll concede, is another matter entirely, but the site itself is the best single resource to get complete guides on ALL kinds and genres of games.
We can tell by watching your replays.

Touché

Warcs AD and AAD are impossible to hit with if they know what they are doing, so the LA is usable and very damaging

Or just use your meter for something useful?

... really?  :slowpoke:

Yeah, didn't you notice your opponents are incredibly stupid early on and become steadily deadlier as you progress?

It's the CPU.

They're always stupid!

I still don't understand why they removed the blood on Sacchins AD  :mystery:

I mean, the game is a sequel to a freaking porn game, people should be able to handle a little blood.

Also, that blood backalley stage. I want it back!

I find survival mode to be harder on difficulty 1 than on difficulty 5  :psyduck:

Here's another one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu1CT77wXW0

Here, I'm playing Hisui, and had my Stuff-Fu literally eaten. o_O

Wait a minute! Did I just spend 4 min 9 seconds on watching that?!
There should be death penalty for putting videos like that on Youtube..

If the other player is in the air, you can also combo with Wara's LA :teach:
