Then if an area has like 2 to 3 top team players, that sucks. You gotta travel far and join the prelim of another arcade just to stand a chance to qualify.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but only the 1st in a block qualifies? Or does the top 2 teams go to the finals.

Yeah, I'm rooting for Leo/Kaimaato too. Great team there with good potential. Leo's Warc is one of the best around and Kaimaato's Kouma is deadly.

Kaimaato and Leo are teamed? gg.

I personally want to root for SII.  Kinda disappointed he's not with Yukinose this year though.

Kaimaato and Leo? Lol. What's wrong with that team?

Where's Yukinose?

Seems like the only option when Warc is down is to block since if 236C misses, ouch. Is teleporting a good idea?

Her back dash can still work, although not as useful compared to other characters. Though, I seldom use it.

So far, I think only Mech Hisui or another Red Arc can outzone Warc if both players are on par in terms of skill. But then, I'm just a beginner and my opinion might be wrong. Did I mention I hate M. Hisui and her jetpacks? Against a competent M. Hisui, Warc is severely at a disadvantage since aerial supremacy is gone and playing the zoning game is risky. Ground battles aren't any better either.

Well, mind sharing out the list of air attacks that beat Warc's jB? Useful to know when going against an opponent.

Overhead-corner (works on chaos, tohno, arc)
- 5[ B ] 5C 236A 5B 236A aircombo

I have trouble doing this. I tried it on Akiha and after the first 236A, she techs out before my 5B can hit her. Am I doing something wrong? Like, are there specific delays while doing this combo?

Now that's something I did like to see in action. I laughed my ass out while reading the manga. That seriously made my day. Lol.

Great combos. But using MOSAIC.wav for a background audio is a little... unsuitable I guess. Would had preferred something more rock instead. Lol.

About the combo at 00:02 and repeated throughout the video. What are the buttons for doing that? The one where Warc does Air EX Blood Ring and then ends up behind the opponent while opponent falls down together with her. Will it work with the normal air combo of jB jC jB jC or are there special air combos for that to work.

Who are the top players of Warc in recent times?

Seems like K Neko switched to Satsuki, from what I see in recent niconico videos.

I sorta enjoy using Warakia too. His laugh seems to attract me. Lolz. Besides that, I stick with Warc more often.

Thanks for the guide and tips. My only complaints about him is his low defence. He seems to take damage like drinking water. V. Akiha has speeds to compensate for her low defence but Warakia is just normal in terms of speed and a little better in terms of normal ranges. Heck, Nero has better defence and better normals.

What about ERROR: Timeout (Root) when trying to spectate a match? Is it because the match had been going on for like 700+ seconds so I'm unable to view it?

Red Arcueid / Options after Karst
« on: April 27, 2008, 01:51:19 AM »
I've seen many videos where Warc dashes and does a 5C after a Karst but I can never get the timing right. Usually, I only do Karst after an OTG, and my back facing the wall. Depending on the distance, I either do a 5A then 5B > Air Combo or 5B then 5C > Air Combo.

If it involves stuff like dash then 2A, or dash then 5C, I can never get the timing right. Any pointers or tips? By the way, when's a good time to use Karst, besides when my back's facing the wall.

Thanks in advance.

But the infectious laugh during her j2C is the reason to use it. Lol

Thanks. Well, gotta admit it sure looks cool to end with a 214C compared to air throw.

I'm having trouble ending her BNB with 214C. Seems like most of the time, the opponent techs out and evades the EX Blood Ring.

I usually go like, 2A 5B 2B 2C 5C jB jC jB 214C. Should I do the 214C earlier or is my air combo wrong? I have no problem ending with an air throw, going from jB jC jB jC air throw. But 214C just wont hit my opponents. On rare occasions, the opponent fails to tech and I hit them but is there a sure proof way to hit them with the 214C?

Shiki Nanaya / Re: Nanaya Strategy
« on: April 01, 2008, 06:45:21 AM »
Hi there Nanaya pros. Great community here by the way.

I frequently use Nanaya alot and BNBs sort of come naturally to me nowadays. My only problem is improvising on my pressuring game (I read the tips above but somehow it just doesn't execute well for me). Besides that, I have this friend who spams the jumping C attack of every character he uses, if it hits, he chains it to a BNB which is painful. I'm getting sick of seeing him spam Hisui's table attack, Satsuki's knock down blow and all the rest of jumping C attacks. I was wondering if Nanaya's dp would make a good counter move for this. I realize if I miss, I'm in for some hell of punishment. So, should I just continue blocking and wait for an opening, or fight him the same way, by spamming jumping C as well. I realize that Hisui's table has a large hitbox, and Nanaya's jumping C sort of loses most of the time when they clash.

Thanks in advance.
