Had a great time, and I certainly look forward to attending more majors now that I have the time and resources!
What's a five-hour drive each way with nothing but a CD of MP3s to accompany you? Nothing in the face of having fun at an event like this!
(On a somewhat related note: 24-hour gas stations kick ass, if for no other reason than grabbing a soda at 2am)
DAMMIT LPT LOOK WHAT YOU'VE STARTED! Now everyone's gonna be calling me that!![Emo :emo:](http://www.meltybread.com/forums/Smileys/default/emotemobp8.gif)
Anyways - Don't worry about the assuming I'm from CT ... it's the gang I tend to hang out with regularly anyways.
The tournament was pretty rough competition - I've still got quite a ways to go.
Melee Machine - Good, close match. I've always hated the match VS. Nero, but it was still a good fight.
Spooky - Honestly, I had to give everything I had in that one, and I still barely pulled anything off. You're clearly the better player, and I just got lucky there. I hope you're not bitter.
LK - Ow my face.
I was probably still recovering from my last match mentally, but you seriously just rolled right over me. Good shit.
Also Congrats on winning.
Makotoscrub - Another close one; maybe next time I won't be stupid and underestimate how fast regular Akiha can move.![Undecided :-\](http://www.meltybread.com/forums/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)
Zar - Good to finally see you again after all that time since TGA. Slightly disappointed to see you're not playing Aoko anymore, but I guess I can't really fault you for it considering how well it works for you.
Congrats on second place.
LPT - Nice job making top 8. I'll be seeing you back at BattleGrounds for some more fights.
Oh, and I apologize for that fact I didn't stick around too long Sunday evening for casuals. I had a five hour drive back home (would've been 4.5 if it weren't for the GW bridge and its standstill traffic, but ...) and I had things to do on Monday.
PS - for those who don't know, I also play F-S.Akiha, but I only played my C-Aoko in the tournament. I had a couple reasons:
1) LPT recommended it, since my F-S.Akiha is made of shieldbait
2) I agreed with LPT
3) I've been playing Aoko much longer, so if I start to "auto mode", at least it's more likely it'll be something decently not terrible.
Nuclear Steve- Wow, can't believe you came out to this. Good shit on making it so far.

Nuclear Steve - Sorry man for assuming that you were from CT, but good job at the tourney.
