Actually, we fixed it, but thanks for the help. Apparently he had installed it wrong, we reinstalled and it worked fine. But it works now, thanks.

It is in fact, the editor I was using. Yes. The game is patched to 1.07 Rev 1.2 on both systems, I didn't know there was any more patches. Sorry, new to this scene. Should I try them and get back to you? This version editor does support up to 1.2.

This may be quite the bizarre problem, but normally the controls are fine. However, configuring them to any extent renders them inoperable on this machine. Have a friend who can run my copy with no problems whatsoever, but we were trying to get netplay working. Thing is, my computer is a laptop, so no Keypad, and for some reason it refuses to like controllers. It doesn't seem to recognize them regardless of my input. Hence why using a keyboard with redefined controls is necessary.

not sure which specs are mine, but not sure which ones I'm looking for either. The other machine, the one that runs it fine, is a Dell Inspiron 570 with a AMD graphics card placed in. One of the newer ones. I don't know if it's specs matter, as it, you know, runs it fine. But we've tried MBAACC tool, we've tried the MBAACC Key Editor. No lag, but the result is the same. The moment I configure the keys, input to the game stops working altogether. Doesn't affect program speed or the intro or anything, and doesn't affect anything else that's running at the time. Anyone able to help?
