I still can, and do. Just not so much. I did mean to go to Evo though.

If it got console release for my PS3 I would play it SOOOOOOO much but nooooo

So, I bought the KnK blurays. Watched them, a bit sad at the Q-tec style vectoring upscale, but the backgrounds are fine and incredibly beautiful - it's just the character animation.

By the way, excuse the phone camera. My DSLR is broken.

High quality materials. A velvet-like booklet for both the BDs themselves -

And the artbook.

Some of the BDs.

A page from the artbook.

Wait a minute! What's this?

Posting now. Wait a few moments.

That's all for now, so yeah. There's more, but it's artists' comments on some of the art - this is what I really wanted to show you all.

All right, it's been ages since anyone posted in here but I figured I'd bump my thread -

New Mahou Tsukai info!

http://www.himeyashop.com/product_info.php/cPath/21/products_id/14746

Quote
Retail Price: 8,400 Yen

Genre: Visual Novel

System Requirements: Windows XP/Vista/7, DVD-ROM
-Notice-
The release date of Mahoutsukai no Yoru -Witch on the Holy Night- (First Press Edition) has been pushed back to "this winter." Therefore, the release date is now being set to 12/31/2010

It appears to be up for preorder on Himeyashop.

The game releases on September 30th this year for 8,000 yen. While the scenario is written, as one would expect, by Type-Moon co-founder Kinoko Nasu — and writer of Fate/stay and Tsukihime — the art is being done by Hirokazu Koyama, who contributed to the event CGs in both those games.

The game features an all-ages rating, and will consist of only a single route with no choices made along the way. The ED for the game will be handled by Supercell, now probably best known for the Bakemonogatari ED. Playtime is estimated to clock in at about 15 hours.

Obviously this was pushed back.

From my [lack of] understanding of moonspeak, I gather they're talking about a PC/PS3 Melty Blood with netplay, and some kind of political hurdles related to TYPE-MOON.

Anyone wanna clear this up for me/us? :slowpoke:

[inb4 it's a hypothetical situation they're referring to.]

Asked a friend of mine who's fairly well versed in Japanese -

He gave me this.

"Technically, we could do a PC/PS3 version, but the political hurdle (?) is high.  At the very least, we'd need some way to introduce netplay.  We plan on talking it out with [TYPE-MOON and 'those guys'] in the future".

Sup Dagger_G. Heads up to Akira - I actually happened to meet Dagger_G at a Fedex he was working at when I was printing out stick art! Funny coincidence really. Anyway, Akira, I'll give you a call pretty soon in the future for games, if you want. I'm kinda busy w/ finals.

you could only get kyoto, haru at c77, nowhere else is selling it, and there's no plans to ever release it again.

News to me.

It's a beautiful book.

Oh, right. I completely forgot about that. But the store technically doesn't exist yet, sooooo

Until further notice.
HAWAII MB THREAD IS NOW BlazBlue THREAD.  :psyduck:
lolol.

In all seriousness...
At next year's con, my friend might be able to get Actress Again into the game room. But only time will tell.
Here is to hoping we can bring up a scene in Hawaii! (...Too bad the wait till next KawaiiKon is...far.)
Yeah, I'm planning on getting BB for 360. I also got a stick recently I'm about to customize so yeah, if you have a stick too I can start to suck less. see, i usually netplay MB with friends on IRC, but I used a PS2 pad for that and i almost never practiced properly (you try being too lazy to actually learn bnbs and everyone you connect to has at least 6 delay). I really need someone to play games with, if you're up for it.

also: perfect timing, you'll be here this year too!

I just made a video of the new AC game coming out in the states on Sept. 16 - Armored Core : for Answer. Check this shit out.

Click WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY for best experience.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBzK7JqjJro

I encoded my video it so you can watch in HD. i always loved that Shin Getter vs. Neo Getter OP (and JAM PROJECT in general) so I whipped up this video out of the current released trailers.

also this is the gameplay in a really high-speed-tuned mech match. skip to 1:00 if you want to get past him twiddling the settings.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwwUvvHMIac&fmt=18

Of course, it's only really that fast if you're online and fighting with the highest speed mech you can possibly create.

Will you still be here by next year, Dio?

that's not even the point though.

They could have at least made the Nero battle better like they did in the manga adaptation of the VN. Where the fuck were my gigantic monster crab things? Where's my FINAL FORM Nero? Where's the hundreds of animals?

In the anime, it's WHOOP THERE'S A FEW DOGS. BETTER KILL THEM. BLEARGH NERO'S DEAD.

I'm guessing that it would really only be accessible to those living in Japan themselves at this point. I doubt it can get translated as well as gotten a hold of today unless we had a devoted Type-Moon fan who's willing to send us scans and/or camera pictures of the article.
