Time spent learning malice combos is well worthwhile:

2a5b2b3b j.bc airdash j.c dj.bc throw: 3768 vs. W.Len, 63% meter
vs
2a5b2bc5c 623b jc jbc throw: 3787 vs W.Len 84%

and:

6b5b2b3b j.abc airdash j.c dj.bc throw: 4177 damage vs. W.Len, 68% meter
6b5b2b2c5c 623b jc jbc throw: 4097 vs W.Len 89%

harder variant:
6b5b2b2c5c 623b jcb jbc throw: 4175 vs W.Len 96%

Afaik, the only reason to use 3b in combos is part of antiair or summon bounce combo.

A question about the 236A xx 236C blockstring. If you're doing a 5C delay 236A xx 236C block string, whats the point of even having 236A in there?

Its definately too difficult to hitconfirm 236A into 236C, and it reduces the damage of your combos even if it DOES connect. Furthermore you can't really do 236A delay 236C, because the cancel window is too small, and ure better off doing either 236B or 236C plain.

The only reason I can think of is to bait dodges. Would that be the only reason, or is there some other frame-data-related reason that you'd put the 236A in?

Sorry for the late reply, but solution was found. Not 2 days after my initial posts, my PSU exploded. I'm assuming that the fluctuations in power were screwing with the cpu frequency timer, so yeah, problem solved now ^^

Is there a way of turning off automatic delay calculations? For some reason, it keeps changing the delay to something ridiculously high after a few rounds, even if there was absolutely no lag in the previous matches xD

Wish that was the case, but its offline play as well, which is the REALLY puzzling thing.

Well, for some reason, after testing netplay for the first time, my MBAC is now running at approximately 60% speed.

When I say that, I mean, the game is reporting 60fps, and I can MANUALLY change the fps to 120 and it will run faster (read as 1 real second = 2 game seconds) than it should, however at 60 fps, the game is running SLOWER than 1 real second to 1 game second.

Recorded on the character select screen, 10 game seconds is being recorded as 15 real seconds, and its the same in game.

Now, this is an odd issue, because I was playing only today, and it was fine, until I tested netplay.

Have tried reinstalling, virus scan, etc. Also, it seems to be eating about 85% cpu, however, set at 120fps, the game still performs better than it usually does, so I don't think thats the problem.

Any help would be very much appreciated ^^

Edit: Comp specs:
Pentium 4 3.60ghz
1gb ram
256mb geforce 6800
