Before I opened the port, every game would freeze at challenge during matchmaking.
After forwarding the port, one in three games works properly. The other 2/3 freeze for 50 frames each second until I mash escape to close it.

Ah, I see. I didn't know that BE versions were shown first. Thanks.

Roku, why do our framedisplays give such different results? Mine shows C-sakiha's 5c and j.c to have far more dominant hitboxes; specifically, green hitboxes which extend down (in j.c) and forward (in 5c) into the attack direction in your display results are missing in mine.

Do I have the wrong version, somehow?

Fwarc: Does her diveclaw recover faster now? Its been lookin like that from the videos but I can't tell for sure. The recent mbread yt vid post showed a warc doing j.b 2a5b2b5c j.2b and then dropped it. It looked like he was trying for something after but missed his link.

I was able to perform crossups on Vakiha, but reliability is greatly reduced.

I've been learning the timings for the akiha crossup setup where you whiff 6c over the head of the opponent.
For those of you who do not know what this setup consists of, I will explain it at the end of my post.

On some characters, I have found landing the setup extremely difficult. Miyako, in particular. I originally thought that this problem was related to her fast standing speed, but I also find that it is more difficult to perform corner combos with 6c 6[c] on her, so perhaps the problem in actuality exists in the way which she is groundbounced by 6c.

Does anybody know?

The setup:
Comboing with your back starting in the corner, you go into 5a6aa 6c dash 6c, but as soon as you land, you summon akiha and then dash forward. As soon as you reach the downed opponent, you 6c to hop over them so that akiha hits them from the other side. The extended untechable/unstandable time caused by 6c's second groundbounce allows this to happen.

Eva Beatrice is the only character with an airdash. Look at the character roster on the main website.

p.s: wait til you play against my 2 new decks, each one is twice as terrifying as the last.

Ignore loli, I'll train anybody.

Hit me up on AIM or MSN for advanced lessons in how to get up to canadian level in this game

Aim: Darcius v
MSN: darcius@hotmail.com

Edit: the new decks are 3yo 1ra to add Youmu leader supports for Blind Eye Slash aswell as a 3yo 1pr deck to gain obscene amounts of SP in the early game

(we talkin a max of +10 a round here, without even factoring spellcard gain or my scene support)

The new decks both build faster and become lethal faster than the old ones. There are no weaknesses, I cut away only dead growth.

However if you need to do something, what do you do?

I usually rely on kung fu, danmaku, shotguns, Hokuto Shinken and fuel tanks.

You couldn't tell from my av?

More scaling due to higher hit count. Don't worry too much, with a 20 damage loss you should probably be thinking of it as "It doesn't increase my damage." instead of "It lowers my damage."

Held shield -> 421C is shiro's corner escape gimmick of choice.

Yeah, it has superarmor. What, were you guys expecting autoguard, clash, or attack-specific invincibility frames?

"So you play competitive fighting games by yourself then?"

Played GG when I could get two people into it, they quit a month later. Netplayed melty for 6 months. Thats it.

Have an IRC quote.

<Darcius|Minotaurus> I have 2 semi-friends I could call acquaintances these days
<Darcius|Minotaurus> one is a serious hardcore boxer
<Darcius|Minotaurus> and one is a serious hardcore tennis player
<Darcius|Minotaurus> both do little but their sport of choice, drink beer, and watch hockey
<Darcius|Minotaurus> what, am I supposed to introduce my japanese fight game to them? with little girls in it?
<MollusK> they could be closet mb players
<Darcius|Minotaurus> they would laugh in my face man
<Darcius|Minotaurus> especially the boxer, he's beaten me before
<Darcius|Minotaurus> also
<Darcius|Minotaurus> there is one single venue for this kind of thing here
<Darcius|Minotaurus> they have
<Darcius|Minotaurus> 1 ddr machine
<Darcius|Minotaurus> 10 computers with FPS on them to LAN
<Darcius|Minotaurus> about 10-15 assorted garbage that nobody plays
<Darcius|Minotaurus> and 1 Third Strike cab that literally nobody but me has ever played
<Darcius|Minotaurus> and they're on the verge of shutting down
<MollusK> seriously
<MollusK> even third strike?
<Darcius|Minotaurus> you don't even understand
<MollusK> mb has no chance there if noone even plays third strike
<MollusK> also brb gonna drive to the store for some cigs
<Darcius|Minotaurus> there is so much social pressure and homogonization that nobody does anything here except hockey, football, and beer drinkan
<Darcius|Minotaurus> even tennis guy feels that he is a made funof superminority and that he can't get anybody into tennis because nobody plays it.

So to readdress your question,

"So you play competitive fighting games by yourself then?"

"What's moving to a populated city go to do with anything?"?

0 fighting game players here.

You think it'll improve the scene if people with 0 matchup exp show up to get bodied in their first match and leave?

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: No plans for a pc port?

So, I'm supposed to move, right?

You can say I "Have no passion for the game" if I won't move a thousand miles to a populated city, but that might be pushing it.
