big thanks to Tigre for running things, he's been saying he's gonna stop running this game for the past year but thankfully has been lying lol, I still have fun playing and am glad there's always a spot for it at philly events even if the number of players shrinks every event. also shoutouts to Malik and LivingShadow for bringing the setups, at least I think it was theirs

had fun playing everyone in tourney and a little bit of casuals so thanks for coming out peeps  :V :V :V

UNREAL BLACK THINGS / Re: Under Night In-Birth

Well unlike BB (but like SG) the combos actually look realllllllllllllllllllllly fun.
lol one of my first thoughts after I started watching videos last week was "oh no! these look like skullgirls combos!"
I'm mostly fine with combo damage right now (though that will probably change as more powerful stuff comes to light), I'd just like them to be slightly more concise

anyway I'm not super-thrilled with everything I'm seeing but I don't think this game looks nearly as terrible as everyone is making it out to be,  some things look super-fun actually

and what's the big problem with chain-shifting? I've watched a good number of videos and I'm not sure what is so broken about it

wow I forgot that this game is fun and stuff

thank for running the tournament tigre, also thanks for games to everyone I played, I got to play a couple unfamiliar faces in casuals which was rather surprising/pleasant, I enjoyed a set with an h-kouma but I don't remember your name

feel kinda bad that I've mostly dropped this for P4 as this game is actually significantly more fun imo :psyduck:

Anything happening on Saturday? For training and such.
probably going up to nyc for next level tourney this saturday not no pre-summer jam grind session for me

tbh I'm for the most part done with melty, I'll play it at gatherings and tourneys it happens to be at but I'm not going to go out of my way for the game, people aren't hungry to play anymore

aight I guess saturday night after (presumably) gamejunkie I'm officially opening up my home, people are welcome to stay/drink/be merry/sleep until 3PM as my folks are out for da week but I dunno how worth it it'll be, looks like it'll be a smallish gathering but hey it's probably more fun than whatever you were gonna do anyway

iora are you justin? I don't think I ever learned your handle offline

also going to use this occasion to plug the tsb trip idea again, I'm going either way but philly'll be missing out on games and feasting

16
lol maybe he'll make us a loketest tierlist

also probably opening up my house this saturday night for super cereal tanto/fgs/drinking/bath salts

Is there anything going down in Philly this weekend?
I dunno, I'm down to masssh tomorrow but I can't really unless I steal me mum's car, it's a possibility

if gamejunkie is out there can always be super cereal casual sessions at my place, I'm out of instabake cookies tho

also chris why the hell does that picture remind you of me, I am easily the nicest person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting

I do have your cables though, if we wind up doing shit or going to nyc next weekend I can def give them to you

btw Tanto sucks
tanto is worth playing if only to see the look of simultaneous disgust and rage in eric's face as he calls you a giant faggot

I'd think that's something you, of all people, could truly appreciate

I know it's a bit of a drive for you guys but please have a look

http://www.meltybread.com/forums/tournaments-and-events/mini-melty-major-interest-check-mdva-south-look-here-(charlotte-nc)/
that is indeed a bit of a drive, but it wouldn't be the first time I've driven out to somewhere stupid to do something as stupid as play games, but it may come down to a timing thing. with ect, possible bbg, and some cats maybe going to evo it might be a little saturated during the summer
